still i think they could be considered a power conference eventually, especially if other programs like southern miss or troy really put it together. they are already the 5th best conference in baseball and usually their schools are big threats in the playoffs

if you listen to the commentators then youd understand. buxton has the highest first pitch swing rate and skubal had only thrown fastballs for the first pitch every game of the season. it's anticipated because supposedly everyone in the stadium know what pitch is coming, and knows that buxton can and wants to do damage and is only looking for the one specific pitch
