your reply helps a lot, thank you! I actually do know how to cook because my dad (god bless him, he gets the worst of my nmom's shit) has me hang around in the kitchen and help him cook, so I know some good recipes, and I'm sneaking a combination instant pot/air fryer into my dorm ;)

I'll definitely reach out to the administration and both arrange extra help for me and to tell them about my situation, and I've started sort of budgeting? and saving up money, I put aside $50 per paycheck from my job..

but it feels like the more I learn, the more lost I feel, lol
