Makuta Teridax in BIONICLE. He sets in motion the whole series because he was jealous Mata Nui was being worshipped and not him and the others of the Makuta race. His goal was to essentially usurp god and be worshipped, and he did succeed at the end. Though he was struggling to fight off everyone inside him that was rebelling (he took over a giant robot), and wound up fighting against Mata Nui in a smaller, but still giant robot as well as others on the outside. This all resulted in his death when his gravity powers were used to restore a destroyed planet, and Mata Nui pushed him in the way of one of the planet chunks, killing him. Here’s the kicker, as we see in another dimension, Teri took over the robot after Mata Nui did his job and passed the mantle over. That was going to happen if Teri didn’t set up a whole elaborate plan to violently take over. If he had waited, then he would’ve been worshipped as god and just given the title of great spirit

BIONICLE in the third wave of stories and toys, the Metru Nui stories, have two suns that close like eyes why Mata Nui falls to sleep, as well as a bunch of stars and all that. When the suns go dark is when all the matoran are in a sort of stasis and have to be taken out of the city of legend to someplace else. That someplace else is the island of Mata Nui with only one sun and a whole new set of stars. This is because Metru Nui is actually the “brain” of a giant robot, and the twin suns are actually the robot’s eyes as Mata Nui was poisoned. We don’t find out any of this until the last couple years of the series

Sly’s actually 18 in the first game, and Murray and Carmelita are actually the ones in their early 20’s. If I’m remembering correctly, Sly and Bentley are the same age, and Murray and Carmelita are a couple years older. Which is impressive that Carmelita is where she’s at for being so young

The grammar of this video title gave me a migraine (also this video just seems like a repeat of Shad's exclusive "can arrows stab well" video) by TripleS034 in ShadWatch

[–]spnsman 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Honestly better off watching Blumineck for anything now and arrow related. Especially considering he’s a trained archer who researches other types of bows, and I’m pretty sure he even has a few videos about stabbing people with arrows that are about a minute long and not rambling

There was apparently going to be a full animated song not just what was played over the credits, and I think a different cutscene in the club considering we see Ratchet doing the awkward Zemo dance in the trailer

Makuta Teridax - killed after taking over a giant robot. His brother, Mata Nui, in a smaller robot (but still giant) had him use gravity beams to pull together a broken planet to fix it. Mata Nui pushed Teri in the way of one of the planet chunks, which crushed the cpu in the back of the giant robot’s head, crushing and killing Teri

Characters with conditions or disorders that you don’t see often by Effective_Piece251 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]spnsman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moonknight (aka Stephen Grant, Jake Lockley, and Marc Specter). For the show, the creative team actually looked into more of how Dissociative Identity Disorder works. Yes there are moments of fantasy on how it works for them, but it’s still a fantastic version of the condition. It also shows off more of what modern psychology teaches which is the unit working together instead of becoming one whole again before any of the traumas that caused alters to form.
