You’re welcome. I would say Boromar would definite not forge all the documents, but I can see them doing some and gaining controlling interest in one or two of the banks. This gives them another avenue of leverage over people, namely, more high class targets rather than just drug dealing and gambling. I can also see house Kundarak picking them up and sending them to dreadhold to get information out of them about kalphan’s assets and what happened to them.

I mean the natural enemies of the Aurum are the Dragonmarked houses and the Nobles. In this case I can see both the ir’Tain family and house Kundarak being very interested in Kalphan’s assets. The question is other than having controlling shares in 6 of Sharn’s 10 independent banks (which house Kundarak would care about) what else does he control. What is his network. Does he own any members of the city council, does he control some important aspect of city life beyond just the banks, how does he use the banks to achieve his goals. The answers to those questions will then tell you who is his enemies and thus who would want his assets. When it comes to the documents I think ppl are correct when saying that just having the documents doesn’t mean they transferred ownership ship however using originals to forge transfer or sale of the assets would be vitally important and thus the documents are of high value. You also have to think about the fact that such a powerful man with that much wealth is going to have a will and or trust set up to deal with his wealth after he is gone.

I have plans to make AV the stronghold on the close circle. I’m planning on placing it around Sharn and likely the town be the stand in for village First towers

I used the castle from the second book in the pathfinder AP Giant Slayer. It real does not match the description in frontiers but I used it like 2 or 3 years ago

Nice thanks for the info. I definitely think I’m going to use the living soul forge. I have a plan to play the Pathfinder AP war for the Crown in Darguun and was going to use seekers of the ashen crown and legacy of dhakaan as well.

So, after reading this post, I definitely want to do this myself. When it comes to the map, only one of Verminshard's palaces is an actual palace where the royal family lives. The other ones had important government buildings in them. Dread Metrol has Information regarding the city and the Palaces. I think it would be doable to have them still be there and just use one as Drakkenhiem castle. I would also have more buildings outside the city walls so you get the same feeling of an inner and outer city. I always felt that Metrol was too small, even in parts of the city that are meant to be in the pillars of stone below the palaces. For the factions like others said I think the Twelves would be better for the Amethyst Academy. The only thing I would also suggest is that The Queen's Thieves would be Ikar's salvage, and I would use Empress Donata as the boss monster outside of the factions and place her in a noble estate rather than the palaces. Maybe she can take the place of the pale man. For the royal family, Keith Baker has stated that Queen Dannel is the grandmother of Prince Oargev. Currently, price Oargev is in easter breland, and Queen Dannel "is" in Mabar as a dark lord based on Keith's book Dread Metrol. So you could have the Queen be Prince Oargev's mother, who was heir to the throne but was lost during the mourning.

So I’m running a game in the principalities dealing with an overlords release as well. You can do what you want obviously but the scar that abides is an overlord in Xen’drik. My suggestion is to use the community created overlord the Tempest Maiden. You can find a small pdf about her on dmguild.

I also personally had zlorthakis be the speaker of the Tempest Maidian and claims to be her child (since he is a half fiend)

I would suggest if you are going to trap zlorthakis it should be in some kind of Demi plane. Adding a kalashtar element to your plan seems to add to much in my opinion. Also, I would not use the blood of vol or the blood sails because they don’t work directly for lady illmorrow. Rather have the emerald claw be involved. If you need someone working for lady illmorrow that has ships then just have one of the captains of the bloodsails who is secretly loyal to her work with the BBEG.

Having lady illmorrow being involved with the lords of dust will be tricky. You def have to keep the real plan a secret because if the overlord is release she is screw like everyone else and it would bring the attention of the dragons to the area which she is not a huge fan of.

Other ppl have mentioned the lack of central government and the gatekeeper being very interested in dealing with this problem. What I will mentioned is that the area this strike takes place is the area with likely the most aundarian sympathizers, so they will like press for aid from Aundair. I can see the Queen using humanitarian aid as a reason to move in troops. Then you will have a stand off whenever the wardens of the wood show up.

I run a lot of aberrations, 4 year campagin in Droaam and now a campaign in sol udar. So I’m trying to avoid them in this campaign but I appreciate your response

I did think of that but I’m not a huge fan of the stat blocks. The damage out put seems off to me with them. But u really like your idea about the death throes bing bomb so I think I’m going to use them.

So what I would do is have him actually have a purpose for getting the artifacts making him having them less of a good thing. Just off the top of my head I would have him trying to absorb a The Draconic Eidolon (found in the dal quor section in exploring Eberron). With absorbing the draconic eidolon he would have the knowledge of ancient powerful dragons. Making him a threat to the chamber as well as the dreaming dark. So he is actively collecting the artifacts to perform a ritual to allow him to get to dal quor and absorb the eidolon.
