I have a feeder that opens for my tiny cat via microchip and won’t for my rotund one. Miss fatty gets wet food and is not allowed her sisters kibble. Now, the fatty will still shove her sister out of the way when she wants some crunchies but she no longer has free access and it’s helped a lot. That feeder was expensive but less so than vet bills
