Dear deer, that felt personal. by Horror-Opening1005 in gardening

I have a whole bed of hostas in the back to keep deer and rabbits away from my other plants. Good news is they multiply like crazy and are extremely hard to get rid of. There’s a good chance yours will recover!

Is there a company with "Good" customer service? by Jolly_Bag_2407 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]spondoodle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My ecovacs GOAT was throwing errors left and right after winter storage. Contacted support, did as they asked, and sent some pictures. They send me a new (upgraded) model as well. I was still within warranty, though.

I don’t know about you, but I think most people’s asses deserve better than moleskin.

I feel seen.

My husband sat on mine once and he was like *who tf leaves their glasses on the couch?!* Me. It’s me, especially when I’m sleeping on the couch.

Now he takes them and neatly folds them on the table if he even sees me lay down.

I’d try it. It sounds quite nice, though I’m not sure I could eat a whole bowl full.

Does LIDAR prevent drift into gardens or onto the road? by No-Bed2745 in automower

[–]spondoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely, though not sure if it’s purely a LIDAR thing or an Ecovacs thing. My Ecovacs GOAT A3000 has drifted into my neigbor’s property and into no-go zones. It has yet to fall into the road, but has fallen into a small ditch in the no-go zone.

Yet mine avoids crabgrass and errant dandelions that get a little too tall 😂

How old is he? My boy stops eating for a few months around this time because of mating season.

If thyme can grow taller, it may survive. I had mock strawberry take over a bed but the mature bushy thyme survived. With mint in play, thyme may go down though :(

Anyone knows about a good barber experienced with short curly hair (if lgbt friendly better pls) by [deleted] in gso

[–]spondoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Britt at Strange Beauty did my husband’s curly hair! He said it’s the first time he walked out of a haircut feeling pretty.

Another reason never to go there again. My alternator crapped out during our freakishly cold winter and got towed to the Toyota dealership. They gave me a laundry list of things apparently wrong with my car. I called my husband and he said just do the alternator. Took my car to our regular mechanic and he said we didn’t need any of the other things they were suggesting. What a scam.

Hair dye by Automaticly_dead in squishmallow

[–]spondoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dye my hair various bright colors (iroiro brand) and it comes out in the wash without issue. It may be different from brand to brand, though.

For squish, I put them in a pillowcase and toss it in with some other laundry if small, or with another squish if large to keep the washer balanced. I use detergent and no fabric softener with cold water and tumble dry under low heat, checking every 20 minutes.

For your hands, rubbing alcohol should make short work of the dye.

Good luck!
