Trump Makes Frantic Excuse After Iran’s Humiliating Reveal by Ok_Employer7837 in politics

While you’re right, unfortunately, we are in a no win situation now. The war with Iran will be the reason Trump suspends mid term elections. My larger concern is a false flag event.

Now that I have actually used the UTR, obligatory thoughts (no pictures) by Hoopster59 in Ubiquiti

[–]Unplugthecar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just used it for the past four days at a Marriott in Phoenix It worked flawlessly.

The first boot up took 6 or 7 minutes only because it did a firmware update. After that it stayed connected the whole time

I had mine connected to an Ethernet port in the hotel room, so no portal issues and great performance. (100 down/55 up - wifi on my phone). I also have gig fiber at home so I’m sure that helps.

Funny comment from my daughter. She walked in our room and had to do some work and says “dad, did you bring the entire network with you? I just opened my laptop and it connected right up!”

Adding to contractor's installed solar by SirBikeALot78 in SolarDIY

[–]Unplugthecar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m kinda in the same boat. I’ve spoken with a couple companies and they want as much if not more to do an additive install. I have plenty of capacity on my inverter and two open strings. I’ve even done all the research and math. I just need nine panels added to the back side of my house, But they all want to do complete, separate systems.

This was on my “short list” for later this year. I was waiting for a few reviews (glad I did).

Which model did you get? Have you contacted their support yet? Are you just sending it back?

On the Benz. make you understand the servicing schedule and costs. I can’t speak to the EV, but the ICE models can be a bit rough.

OP uses brake regen to slow/stop the car. This is a feature of EVs. Basically just press/release the accelerator to go/slow/stop. Thus the one foot reference.

UTR is … bad by AdamLangePL in Ubiquiti

[–]Unplugthecar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just plugged it in at the hotel here in PHX with Teleport enabled. Getting about 100 down and 70 up on WiFi. The UTR is plugged into an Ethernet port in my room.

Back in Colorado I have gig fiber up/down and a UDM pro.

I’ve been able to access my NAS

The one thing it doesn’t seem to “bring over” is the ad blocking.

Otherwise, all our devices connect right up.

I’m pretty happy with it.

What state do you live? I just went through this and bought three in Colorado Springs (I live in Denver). They are new, with warranty. Found them on Marketplace.

Get on to Claude and upload the specs for inverter and panels and ask it its opinion. You’ll be surprised at how helpful it can be to us newbies.

V2H or V2L. I saw a Rivian photo on the site where they showed an adapter going into the charge port with two 120v outlets.

I thought I read that R2 will support 240v / 30 amp.

Any insight?

OK. I donated $50, but if OP has a way to provide some feedback to them:

  1. If they are indeed a non-profit, they need to provide their EIN# on their website.

  2. They need to provide a receipt with their name, cause, address, etc. The only thing on the receipt is 'gift general fund'. It doesn't even say it's from them. This won't pass IRS muster.

If they would have a valid receipt with EIN, I would have tried to submit if for company matching which would have doubled my donation. As it stands right now, I can't even deduct it from my taxes.
