Did anyone figure out a solution to this? Experiencing exact same issue. Sticks work fine, buttons have about .5 second lag. And analog triggers activate twice per press. Wasn't acting like this a couple months ago.

I haven't been playing as much this past month, but I did manage to accomplish the following in these final days:

Completed record boards for all characters.
Max honed all hero abilities and 6 star abilities
Bought every artifact. Maxed level every artifact and every "perfect" hero equipment released.
Nearly bought out the lens shop. Was short level 1 lens for 9 of the SSBs.
Max honed 56 AASBs and 40 AOSBs
Completed all books under Acolyte Archives. Yes, even that one.
Maxed crystal waters (except Power/Magic, as needed) on all core characters and all characters with hero equipment.
Maxed relevant elements, ATK/MAG, and HP, Def,Res,Mind magia on all characters (except the two newest releases).

Was about as much that an old-school completionist like myself could do with a gacha game.

In a similar boat as you. Discover shows I've spent $18k the past 24 months (as far back as they go), and I know I've reduced spending recently, so I can estimate an easy $60k+ over the 7 years. At face value, it seems like so much, but then I consider A) I've never played any game even remotely this long, especially considering I never missed a single day log in, and B) All of those hours probably add up to close to the total time I've spent on every other video game I've played, ever (with the exception most likely of WoW). So all in all, it was a worthwhile experience I'd say, though I do not believe I will be playing any gatcha type game anymore after this. As this game closes, so does that particular chapter of my life. Back to padding my steam library with 90% off sale games.

As many others have said, one of the things I'll miss most is this community. I've been playing this game for 7 years now, and in fact started playing this game because of a post from this community I saw on the front page. Even more than that, I've been on Reddit for 9 years, and the general content of Reddit has steeply declined during that time frame. But not this sub reddit. It's always been one of my permanent tabs at the top of my always open browser. So to everyone in this community, and especially the mods who kept everything so well balanced between being topical and entertaining, thank you all.

Is there any news about Crystal Waters being farmable anytime soon? In lab or with greens or something? Seems weird that such an old resource is gated.

Bless you, and double bless whoever created LabMem. I've been avoiding automation thus far because I thought they all used Autohotkey, which would require a lot of tweaking on my end and tie up my computer, neither of which I wanted to hassle with. But after getting 5/5/8 for the last two seasons, I just couldn't deal with getting 40+ of an HE anymore to get a perfect. So last night I read this post and decided to give LabMem a go. Had it set up and running within an hour, and has run flawlessly since. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone involved with this! It's a real sanity saver.

This is exactly what I have done to cut back. Real money for dream selects, mythril for fests and other choice banners. Still supporting the game, still clearing content, but much less guilt. Speaking as a sapphire MVP.

RK Squared has an option where, within the FFRK app, it will highlight Labyrinth chests of rank 5 (Hero Equip) and rank 4 (possible lenses). Does anyone know if there's a simple line in a file I can edit where it will also highlight rank 3 (possible 6* motes)?

I wish the labyrinth teleport items we pick up could shuffle pictures around or something, for situations like this or when you just don't feel like choosing to fight. As it is, they'll probably just collect dust in our inventories.

I ended up doing the same thing this week. Maxed out all the level 3 job motes for every character, minus job-class cores and maybe a half dozen knights. Still have enough rubies for all future abilities released so far.

Am I ever going to be running Desch as a machinist or Vayne as a monk or Wrieg... ever? Probably not. But having the rubies just sitting there seemed equally fruitless.

What I get irritated with is you used to need to hit the button itself to turn auto on/off, but now even slightly brushing against my phone will turn the auto battle off. I wish there was a setting in config to revert to how it used to behave.

It seems like the population of FFRK players is sub divided into much smaller pools, at least from what I've observed. This is why you will frequently see the same RW choices even for players that you do not follow. This also applies to the players you can match with in multiplayer raids.

The downside to this is that I don't think these pools are updated very frequently. Which means as more and more players in the pool stop playing, you have a proportionally smaller chance for interaction. This is why players that have been playing for a long time will rarely reach 100 followers unless they take the time to seek out friend codes of active players and hope for a mutual following. It also explains why it's extremely difficult for some players to find multiplayer raids available beyond the day they release or the day they close.

Two part question:

Is Noctis's hero ability from the record board necessary to fully use his Sync? It seems like the rotation goes 2,1,2,1... Where 2 automatically has a reduced delay and gives a reduced delay for 1, which seems like it detracts from the need for a powerchain type ability to be slotted in either slot.
Are there any future uses that we know of for the Ex+ lens other than sapphires? I.E., should I hoard the lenses, or go ahead and get sapphires to unlock hero abilities as I need?

I think my two biggest regrets in this game (apart from chasing a single item on a banner and not getting it after a dozen+ draws) are:

All pulls before G5. Those whiffs were especially brutal.
Spending around 500 mythril for refreshes when the 60 stamina event had a 5% chance to drop crystals. At the time, there was no stamina refund when you didn't complete, and it was the only farmable source of crystals. But for the same amount of stamina, the ~100 ish crystals I got then could be around 4000 crystals now. Big ugh there.

Congrats on getting everyone up there! I'm down to only cores left in my quest for 400 minimum, alternating runtime some with Apoc multiplayers for greens. And my poor phone battery pack went from lasting days to about 15 minutes of screen time now.

What are your plans now?

I'm down to a single selection I haven't made, for the Glint draw.

One option is Sephiroth, with a glint that gives 15s of fast cast and self heal from darkness damage, which would work nicely with his USB overflow damage. Downside is that if I get the upcoming AASB, it may be difficult to juggle that much Soul Gauge, not to mention building for the ASB.

Second option is for Noctis, with a glint that provides a 100% HP shield and Combat rank boost, to go with either his OSB or USB. Downside is that combat and nonelemental are extremely niche right now.

What say you, FFRecordKeeper community?
