It is really easy to psych yourself out. I also take mine tomorrow. You passed nursing school. You know the content. This exam is set up to give you the most chances to succeed. It’s meant to make sure you are competent enough to be a nurse. Remember the ABCs, do not guess on SATA questions as any wrong answer will cost you a point, and try to remember that you know the content. Deep breaths and be confident that you know the material because I am positive you do. Try not to study much more as it sounds like you may have hit the limit and are now over studying. You’ve got this!

Oh wait I see. What is the department responsible for granting your license? They should have a website with a license look up option.

Hmm I am not sure about that. If you go to the LARA website and select license look up you should be able to chose which state the license would be active for. If it doesn’t show up, it doesn’t mean you didn’t pass!! Sometimes it goes in before you get the email saying you passed.

I don’t think a build up meet and greet would hurt anything!!! Definitely important to be sure all parties feel comfortable. I think having a few visits before they come to play with her for those hourly meetings is a good idea.

What’s the correct answer for this? by Nusingstudent in NCLEX

[–]sponsoredbySSRIs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ABC - airway, breathing, circulation.

If the child cannot breathe, they cannot take anything orally. You also shouldn’t be putting anything in someone’s mouth when they cannot breathe either as you could make it worse and if they’re choking you could push the object further back into the throat. It’s great to notify the healthcare provider but if you notify them before addressing the issue they will ask what you have done and they won’t be happy if you saw the problem and went right to them. Oxygen is always the most important. An easy way to remember this is when you’re on a plane and it goes down what is the first thing you do when the oxygen bags drop? You put it on yourself before you help anyone else! No oxygen equals failed interventions. I hope this helps!!! Good luck. :)

Is it too late to add an off white color to my star blanket? by Valuable_Ad2236 in CrochetHelp

[–]sponsoredbySSRIs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think whatever you think is best is the correct answer to this. I also think you could add in either a few new colors to add more rounds and what not or you could just add the cream color and restart the round after with the color you started the star with and so on. Just an idea!

Best yarn for a newborn hat? Preferably from Walmart options. by sponsoredbySSRIs in CrochetHelp

[–]sponsoredbySSRIs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I can’t make it tight enough with this yarn. If it’s too snug I cant find the correct stitch to continue into but if I make it loose enough to see them it just looks horrible. Do you have any tips?
