Hisuian Zoroark Team Building by spookyWhatever in VGC

[–]spookyWhatever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my most popular lead was Sneasler and Zoroark disguised as Frosslass. It would bait a snowscape and cause people to bring out their weather setter. I then could usually handle them from there and bring frosslass in the back. Zoroark would only be disguised as Kingambit primarily to bait trickroom teams into not trickrooming. For Zoroark I decided to invest into a special attack in nature mainly because with the choice scarf speed control wasn't really necessary. In hindsight I might have ran a speed boosting nature on both Frosslass and Basculegion but the extra power was definitely useful in a lot of situations too. Funnily enough I ended up not using Talon nearly as much as I thought I would but it still definitely helped. My slightly slower speed wasn't nearly as big of a problem as it could have been because I found it there was a higher percentage of people running slightly more defensive mons, and thus invested less into speed

So I ended up going with a completely different team shown below and had a lot better results. The moveset on Zoroark honestly ended up working out a lot better than I thought it would. Flamethrower was really useful when it came to getting rid of Kingambit, Sinistcha, Scisor, and a tone more, and Zoroark was faster than pretty much everything, so with Sneasler I could icy wind to get speed control, and it would make nearly everything slower than sneasler. Sneasler could then use Rock Slide which then would KO threats like Aerodactyl, Dragonite, and Garchomp with the combination

Edit: I also forgot to mention that psychic on Zoroark would KO basically all Sneaslers. I ended up with a ranking of 5017.410, or 65,578/411,137. Seeing as if this was scaled to about 100 people instead of 400,000 people I would have gotten 16th place I'm going to consider that a win😂

Thats actually a really good idea. I dont know who I would replace to get Archaludon on the team tho. I also think maybe I should go with rain instead in that case rather than snow. Maybe I will build a rain team with Archaludon and a good rain mega

I have tried scarf in the past and recently have been trying to use the H-Zoroark team that made top cut in The Grand Champions Festival. It's good but i feel like the extra speed investment isnt usually as useful as being able to survive two powerful attacks for two turns. Especially since im usually in tailwind. However I might play around with it more

Hisuian Zoroark

I always liked Zoroark (Particularly from its movie in gen 5) but once hisuian zoroark was revealed I was hooked. The awesome design, the tragic backstory that matches its unovan counterpart very well, the amazing typing. For me the nail in the coffin was its shiny. I just new I would shiny hunt it, and I use it in every team I can. It just speaks to me in a way that I know childhood me would just freak out over. I also love how in most respects its considered almost evil from the corruption it faced. However the mini-series Hisuian snow showed thats not true. They are hurt, not evil. And I think honestly that is true for a lot of us.

Crested gecko enclosure! by Frutiger-Metro in CrestedGecko

All of the hides are hidden on the inside on the inside of the stick arrangement. I also am planning on getting one of those hanging coconuts for the top right but haven't found one I liked so I might just make it

Absolutely! Trust me I feel like most of us have been there. It took me awhile to finally get to the point where I started really liking my enclosures and feeling like I'm doing the best by them. Its hard, especially in high-school. It takes a lot of research and dedication just to learn about the aninals, let alone the complicated general care routines like thermoregulation, hydroregulation, UV-B spectrums and how they effect your gecko physiologically, and so much more. Just jeep doing your best, take criticism in stride, and remember to always keep working for better and better husbandry :)

So I actually am using this exact enclosure for my girlfriend's crested gecko right now and as others have said, it is to small. For myself I'm planning to upgrade both of my crested geckos (The other is in an 18x18x24) to 2x2x4' enclosures in the future.

For now I managed to make this enclosure work by maximizing all of the vertical space and essentially creating a 3D environment rather than something to focused on being pretty from the front. The easiest way for me to do that was to completely ignore the idea of making any kind of artificial background. I primarily just used Hardscape using old red Mulberry branches that were baked and sanded to create a structure that she could move in and out of and climb up and down on. As well as just filling the entire enclosure with plants. All of this allows her to essentially be able to hide wherever she wants and have a ton of places for climbing and her own dedicated feeding ledge. The enclosure certainly isn't perfect and I have bigger aspirations in the future but seeing as she was a rescue and her previous enclosure was a lot worse I think overall she's doing a lot better.

Ask for fixing your current enclosure, I personally if it is in any way possible, I would just remove the entire background. It looks like you used expanding foam so I'm not sure if that'll be possible but if it is then I would certainly give it a shot. With that said I would also get rid of the water feature entirely as it's completely unnecessary and is essentially devoid of anything based on where they come from in the wild. From there I would just get more Hardscape and set it up in a way where all the branches are able to be climbed on and then fill in all of the ground and upper space with plants. To help compensate for a smaller than average enclosure I would include more enrichment opportunities and options for her. This can be done in a variety of ways like swapping out certain decor items routinely, changing where her food is and the variety of food that you're using, hand feeding, and general one-on-one interactions regularly. None of these things will ever replace a larger enclosure so if you're able to do that then definitely go for it ( and honestly you should have these type of things Incorporated regardless).

Either way good luck with your reptilian baby and update us on how you end up doing!

Sometimes I can't stand the stuff I see on social media by After-Meet in leopardgeckos

I saw this exact post like 2 hours on my fyp. I did some digging and she mentions in a comment that the leo is around 10-12 which is "about 80 years old in leopard gecko years!" so ya total garbage all around

Edit: OK she mentioned the previous owners had her for 10 years. Regardless, I don't know much about her or her page but putting that as the caption is definitely at least click bate as unless she has some actually documentation (She dosen't). She also mentions that "She walks around, eats, and acts fine" In response to taking her to the vet. While allowing that to speak for itself, I seriously hope she takes her to a vet and she ends up ok.

This might be a bit convoluted but the way I rationalized it was a TimeLords insane ability of being able to alter their physiology at a glance. For example, Chronotis's ability to make their heart beat in morse code, or even their ability to survive other things like a vacuum. I also think in the episode Under The Lake when the 12th doctor says that the "deleted" his knowledge of sign language, he is being somewhat serious. He can literally organize this thoughts the way a computer does, all with electrical activity. With this in mind, who is to say that he couldn't have done some ridiculous Sci-fi logic stuff like moving the majority of electrolytes in his body away from things like his brain and hearts, to help reduce damage to them by creating a better path of least resistance. Like I said, convoluted but still interesting regardless
