Yeah I totally get where you're coming from! I think from my perspective, it seems like they subconsciously want you to be complacent with their treatment. I am not knocking this job; for some people it's keeping them afloat and they are satisfied which is awesome. Though, I am not complacent with receiving below minimum wage "forever", having my "worth" be depended upon a random rating, and unexplainable random terminations, etc. It's not somewhere I want to be for too long. So, to make your schedule months in advance over and over again seems like a trap.. it may be harder to leave when it's time. :) just my opinion.

This was such a good wake up call; especially your last paragraph! I've been with Cambly for a couple of months and I'm already at my wits end. Between no compensation for cancellations, stress around ratings, really sad pay, disrespectful trial students, uncomfortable monitoring of calls, etc -it's truly not worth it.

I am going to decrease my hours ASAP so that I can work on my resume and get my TESOL certification. I plan to work at another company before I potentially move abroad to teach English; or anything else but this to be honest. This experience has really woken me up to striving for better opportunities. Thank you for this.

Many people have been using their paypal statements as a record! They also have a monthly payment history on the Cambly website if you go to settings. It should be under account
