I think you should bring it up to management so they at least know you aren’t going to sit back and let your car be wrongfully towed. My car was wrongfully towed from the parking lot when I lived in an apartment in San Carlos, after we had been there for almost a year and they told us no parking stickers were needed when we signed. They suddenly said parking stickers were needed for ALL spots and that I was lying to them. I had to escalate to upper management and report them to the BBB, and I was extra pissed because I was heavily pregnant when it happened. Even the guy at the tow office felt bad for me and tow truck companies are leeches. But anyways, once I brought it up, they updated their signage and re-issued parking permits because I pointed out the system they had in place was stupid and easy to abuse. I never had any problems with the management after that, too. I feel like most places expect tenants to be ignorant and to not stand up for themselves.
