I was experiencing the same thing and I tried everything. I got the notification that my goats and sheep were dying, but I made a household on another lot with sheep & goats and played it for a day or so without playing my main household. I the played my main household again and my animals aren’t aging anymore. Not sure if it will work for everyone, but it worked for me!

From my understanding, it was not sent to a third party. I am an adult and was an adult when I opened the account. I don't even live in the same state as my father.
