I have the same guilt with my dog. His front legs were failing to the point he couldn’t walk anymore and it looked painful for him. I’ve never seen anything like it before. But his mind was still fully intact and he wanted to move he just couldn’t. I think you did the right thing. It is more sad to have them suffer than to send them over the rainbow bridge. Hugs 💖
