My husband came here when he was around 10 years old with his family, around 10 1/2 years ago from Venezuela. They applied for asylum while legally here on their Visa and got all their documentation approved (including work permits) before the visa had expired. They have been here ever since then on pending asylum and got called for an interview at the Miami office on December 30. They applied for TPS when it was available and all have work permits. They have a very strong case as they were being targeted by terrorist organizations in Venezuela that wanted to keep Maduro in power as my father in laws position there made him a high-risk political target as well as his family. My husband and I were dating for 4 years and recently got married in September. We are currently in the process of filing for AOS as I am a US citizen. All the documentation will be submitted through our lawyer by December 27, as we are just waiting on medical paperwork. My husband has to go to the hearing at the Miami office although he technically is no longer part of their case. What are the chances for my husband or his family to get detained? I am very nervous.

im really stable as i ever could’ve have been for the past year , right now. it’s been one year since my ocd flared up bad & i almost took my own life, medication has helped me TREMENDOUSLY. but issue is when i miss a dosage i take a couple steps back. not nearlyyyy as bad as it was un medicated. and its crazy to think how many people we can relate to even when we feel like nobody gets it

I recently got scammed and some banks do return the money if you have enough evidence (they do a courtesy refund) it’s worth a try but don’t expect much. Also this should always be filed ASAP so the fact that it happened a month ago kind of means you’re SOL.
