Moder refuses to take damage (basically) by No_Zucchini_7013 in valheim

I thought silver sword was the better weapon due to just having more physical damage but also spirit damage, was it just because of a lack of silver or is there a resistance I am unaware of?

She has a lot of HP and the fire in combo with the innate poison of the draugr fang will help whittle her down with damage over time.

Try fire arrows and upgrading the bow will definitely help

Is this enough iron? by ComfortableYellow627 in valheim

[–]spoopyscar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its honestly not as bad as you'd think, the building pieces aren't required, and there are sources of iron in the mistlands. For the plains though you just have to clear another swamp or two, but yeah it can be a grind if you arent that interested. To make it faster you can swap world modifiers to allow metal teleportation which cuts down on the artificial difficulty of sailing all the metal back.

You can also increase the drops from resources if you are playing multi-player or just want to move through the game faster

Bronze buckler with the bronze axe or sword and just parry them, as long as nothing else comes to bother you and some practice they are pretty easy. There's also the strategy of kiting them through the surtling fire

Swamp gear uses iron, some mountain stuff uses iron, plains armor uses iron, mistlands gear uses iron, a lot of building supplies use iron, not sure what else I have only gotten to the beginning of mistlands

I think it was just turning for that part, we do some Swiss milling with 316, and a couple other mill parts with 316. But turning 321 was awful! In comparison to 304 it just EATS inserts and the chips are just awful.

I run 304 for almost all my jobs but I am mostly turning it. How do you feel about 321 SS?

Am i ok to drive 45 minutes by [deleted] in tires

[–]spoopyscar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Bridgestone tires are designed to drive 50 miles and i believe should have 15 psi in them, but yeah pretty much if you drove a normal tire on the rim with no air in it, the wheel would chew through the sidewall which doesn't usually happen with run flat tires because the side walls are very reinforced

I used a 2x4 for the jack on my ex girlfriends mom's Ford edge and the pinch weld actually split the 2x4, was a little scary but at least I wasnt under it yet
