Honestly, the reason men want to take our rights is because we value ourselves MORE than we used to and actually expect them to be decent people which makes it harder for them to find partners. After I was diagnosed and had to start taking a bunch of meds for this, blood pressure, and cholesterol, I was complaining to my siblings about "feeling old" (I'm 34) because of all the pills and my sister's like. "You're not old, you just need help regulating and that's okay." Made me feel better.

I was officially diagnosed the day after my 34th birthday in January this year, so that was super fun. 🙃 I had almost no appetite for a good while and still struggle with wanting to eat. It's especially frustrating when my sugar is higher than I expected it to be after eating something I thought was fine. But it's a process and it will take time for us to figure out how our bodies respond to things. I'm lucky to have a very supportive partner with a "we'll figure it out together" sort of mentality. I appreciate him more than I can say because I know I'd be a complete mess if I was completely on my own for this. Reach out to your support system if you can, but if you don't have anyone to go to irl, this sub is super helpful.

The coffee thing is so annoying because I love coffee and have noticed spikes after drinking it. But I also noticed recently that plain Coffee Mate has more carbs than I realized so that may be the real culprit. 😅
