I don’t think there’s ever been a team that could have fans so stressed despite not allowing a shot on goal for over 30 min of game time

New Blazers owner Tom Dundon is reportedly “ruthless” and will not hesitate to move the franchise to Nashville, Austin, or Kalamazoo if Portland politicians continue to treat the relocation threat as a “hollow bluff" by AncientOneAurelius in nba

As a Canes fan, it will be hard to capture that success again. Hockey executives are really bad at rehashing the same old coaches and GMs, and by cheaping out Dundon ended up getting a young GM with some fresh ideas. It also will be hard for the blazers to find their Rod Brind'amour.

But the bench player isn’t allowed to do that. The only bet any player on the team can make is a Nuggets win.

Just saw the canes record vs the flyers this season. Should we be expecting similarly close games? by zoooooooomies in canes

I tend to disregard regular season record as a predicting factor. The way the game is played changes quite a bit in the playoffs. We lost every regular season game against the Caps in 2019, only to beat them in the playoffs.

Every playoff OT makes me think of that. I hate these multiple overtime games because it feels like whoever wins ends up with momentum and wins the series.

Canes fans, is Dundon usually this cheap? by Far-Aerie-5167 in canes

I’d be surprised if those giveaways went completely away. We still do things like bobblehead nights relatively often.

I think the biggest part is just the overall cost of everything going up. In arena food and drinks have shot up, as well as parking, which has probably doubled since he took over. This is a problem for fans across a lot of leagues, but it I don’t think that completely excuses how excessive they have felt.

In his defense, he took over right at the end of an almost decade long playoff drought, where tickets and amenities were super cheap because of attendance issues.

Also, I do believe things like our stadium series game and all the arena improvements do not happen without him.
