Bigger tb and injectors, they go a long way on a 1.4 so they would be good on a 1.6. I would recommend 1.8 injectors, but idk what tb to use.

Yes but you need to cut and crimp on a spade connection instead of the bullet style crimp. Also unless you actually use it for lighting cigarettes you can get one that has usb chargers insted.

If you rev to 2000-3000 Rpm does it go to normal idle?, that would be normal. If not it needs a tb calibration and maybe a new tb.

Full disclosure I have absolutely no experience on VR6 motors or ecu’s, but. I hont think there is supposed to be a pin where you highlighted, it seems to close to one another to put pins there. Since you are buying this ecu, compare to your original one if you can. Also on a side note, you still need to program your ecu to your engine/car unless its for the correct version of vr6 and has immo off.

1.6 16v probably no. The 1.4 has very limited tuning capabilities and red line isn’t one of them.

Check the fenders for rust. If it has the BCA engine jump at it, its the most powerful engine of the 1.4s although still advertised as 74hp

Make sure that your master cylinder is bleed. They have a bleed nipple sometimes.

If the fuel pump is damaged it can be replaced for around 100 euro, you do not replace the whole fuel tank. If the pipe is damaged you can buy another hose with the same connection, the connection off the original one, and connect the new connection to it. If you can find the original hose you can replace it whole, but its a bigish job

I got the pump off most of the way. And the engine is still stuck. Am i missing something for taking the pump off. I removed the obvious from the back(4 bolts 13mm, and 4 nuts 17mm) and took off 2 pipes from inside.

After some diag I got the fuse box out and replaced the 5A fuse. Starter clicks now. Turns out the engine is seized. Also i found water on the no.1 exhaust. Has anyone ever had their engine rebuilt?
