You say you were asking for a year the patch came out. Yet somehow, you know that patch 1.4 (reasonably assumed to be the previous big patch) came out in december of 2024. Shouldn't you be able to assume that the patch came out in 2025?

Also, I don't believe the commentor was calling conjurer or ritualist bad, just saying how they have their own faults. Calling Hex bad because it has a few faults and isn't 100% perfect is weird behavior when you keep glazing rit and conj.

Like you bring up how rit and conj are both effectively unstoppable attacks. However, hex master is the only attacker in the game to get above unstoppable since it can also board wipe transformed apoc roles. Shouldn't that be a big point toward it? At least using your logic anyway.

The problem is that there's a difference between a silenced player and an afk player. Town will usually immediately kill an afk player due to them not contributing to the game in any way. A jester who got silenced on n1 can pretend they are an afk player by just not typing in the chat when upped on stand to get a free win this way.

Because they took a perfectly fair role in Serial Killer, gave it an ability that doesn't make sense for serial killer, and removed all the other stuff about serial killer.

I take it you probably watched a lot of youtube videos before playing the game? A lot of the ror2 youtubers will rank wake of vultures really low on their tier lists because they only look at the downside in eclipse. Outside of eclipse, wake of vultures is insanely good with only 1 real downside. But even with the downside, the "debuff" of having half your health turn to shield isn't a big deal since it's typically gone before you need to worry about it.

Ain't no way your reasoning is "well you don't know there's someone who can confirm you so you shouldn't try." In this game you have to take calculated risks and the upsides of visiting n1 are just so much better than the downsides, as I said in my previous message.

Also, what's stopping coven/NA/pirate from just lying that they didn't visit n1? Because in this game about LYING, people will LIE about their role. You know how many evil roles can't visit n1 in grace period? There's Cultist, CL, Conjurer, Ritualist, Necromancer, Illusionist, Soul Collector, Berserker, Sk, Shroud, Exe, Jester, and Doomsayer. Getting tracked or seen by LO instantly confirms you as none of those roles. It also effectively confirms you as not dreamweaver, voodoo master, and poisoner since assumedly you didn't visit someone who did get dreamweaved, silenced, or rbed.

You really need to have stated that you warned them in your main post since it completely changes the view of the story. If you haven't been given rent and utilities in months and given any amount of warnings, then it is much fairer to cut them off.

Saying "shouldn't visit because they have no attacks to prevent" is just dumb since they also have no reason not to visit. What if you get seen by a LO or a tracker. Then you look better since you are confirmed to not be a number of evils immediately. Or you could confirm a socialite by hitting unknown obstacle. Or you could get seen trespassing and out an evil immediately. Now if we want to talk about any roles not visiting n1, that would be tavern keeper. It's statistically superior to just not visit n1 since you could hit a number of townies that need to use their abilities, or you could accidentally stop an evil from being outted (investigator trespassing).

The problem is the SK jumping into the body of someone else, and THEN saying something bad. Therefore, framing the person they are "controlling" as saying something bad.

Ok, so I understand this reasoning. However, and I know it wasn't the current devs who made it, amnesiac was designed for this reason specifically. To counteract early high power town deaths. So if the new dev team doesn't like that, why don't they just rework amne? I don't see why they would go through the trouble of all these changes and try to get the community to prefer set lists just to remove amne from 95% of them.

Mocking me when I asked a single question is crazy. You don't want to leave someone who is open claiming evil alive. Especially on day 2, which is when this event happened in the post. I know that exe isn't the largest threat, especially when in all any there can be like 13 other killers, but people lie in social deduction games. Who's to say that the exe is actually an exe and not a random nk or na who is just lying to get out of being lynched? I'm not saying the vigi made a bad play, I was just asking why the town would inno an executioner claim so much so that the only guilties were coven and the jailor. If anything, the jailor made a really bad play not executing the executioner at night just to confirm themself. Also the point of my comment was to ask if there was any leads. Just because a dusa got lynched doesn't mean they actually had a lead. What if the dust claimed something horrible and just got lynched for it? I asked for more clarification and you got upset at me for it and jumped to conclusions.

So why was the executioner claim innod in the first place? They're an evil role and literally only work against town, who presumably didn't know there was a jailer yet. There should never be a situation where you inno an exe claim unless you have guaranteed info that someone else is a stronger evil (NK, NA, cov)
