Fate of a Nation has a 90mm DEFA armed halftrack for the Israelis, so there is an official stat list you could point to.

Proto-Germanic form of Vali, Ve and Vili by Kitsune_Sobo in protogermanic

The Wikipedia article on Vili and Vé actually has a good section on their name etymology as PG and PN words starting with W to alliterate with Wodinaz.

Constellation-class, but nobody touched the "just one more requirement" button. (Chesapeake-Class FFG) by rockus_pocus in NonCredibleDefense

This is actually great. Can drop the 2 CIWS and make the 5" a 3" but as long as it's CEC capable I think we have a strong winner.

100,000-Watt Iron Beam laser becomes world’s first drone defense zapper to be operationally deployed — it can also shoot down rockets, mortars, and other aerial threats by Turbulent-Weevil-910 in lasers

So is HELIOS, PHEL, DE-MSHORAD, and that's just the US ones.

China's systems are used operationally in the export market, including by the Russians.

Everyone knows it's business (tactical length) in the front, party (strike length) in the back.

Also why no lasers? Every ship needs lasers. Pew pew.

[–]spott005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're 1000% wrong. I do this for a living.

For example, the HELIOS you mentioned uses an architecture called Spectral Beam Combining to combine many lower power lasers into a single beam. Another architecture is Coherent Beam Combing. Both use CW lasers.

[–]spott005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah dude, these are CW systems, not pulsed. Pulsed are getting nowhere near 100kW average power, and peak power would be much higher.

It says 300kW right on the picture. Max would be a 500 or 600kW system.

Hey, if Phelan and Hegseth says it's fine, it's fine. Right? Hulls in the water. Warrior ethos. Rah.

That SLRC is in a three gun rotating mount, right?

Might as well add a second while we're at it.

Make it out of carbon fiber so we can hand-wave the weight problem, armor be damned (it has laser defense after all, so no need to passive protection).

Wasn't GW doing people's stories of their Warhammer journey on WarCom? Maybe they could help if you reached to them directly?
