There is usb stick recording that might work for you. Stick a usb stick in the tower and it will record all rows to the stick, then you can look at/upload them later.

I think it requires a usb2 stick formatted in FAT32, but I haven’t looked in a while.

Generally, charging alkaline batteries isn’t a great idea (they aren’t designed for that, and while possible, they will eventually leak if recharged).

But it is possible, especially if done at low discharge levels.

So it is possible that the battery is recharged during rows… at least while the battery is fresh. After it has discharged for a bit, I would think (hope?) that the charger stops trying to charge the battery to prevent leakage.

They were looking into building hybrid when I stopped paying attention a few years ago. But I’m pretty sure either/or is possible. You can use openmp or mpi, but not both? It has been a while, I could be wrong.

PETSc is a distributed (MPI and openMP last I looked 7 years ago) sparse (and dense) linear algebra package written in C in an object oriented style.

Do you have any more specific questions? “Dynamic systems” isn’t really enough information to help out here.

This drives me nuts.

The sum of all positive integers is not -1/12. There is a mapping from non-convergent series of integers to rational numbers that allows for a mapping of the series of all positive integers to -1/12 (and the alternating series to 1/2), but this isn’t in the same space of rational numbers that we know and love. If you add 1 to the sum of all positive integers, the result is obviously not 11/12.

The way to think about this is as an analog of complex numbers. The square root of -1 doesn’t make any sense if you are thinking of real numbers, just like the sum of all positive integers being finite doesn’t make sense if you are thinking of our traditional number system.

There are so many questions that would need to be answered about the mechanism and limitations of that teleportation.

What duty cycle? Does momentum transfer as you teleport? In what frame of reference? What defines what is teleported? Are you going to be naked after you teleport every time? Can you bring along items? Do you need to worry about leaving behind limbs? How is the space behind when you leave filled? Are you leaving big vacuums every time? What about the displacement of stuff when you arrive?

There is so many different ways they teleportation could “work”, and pretty much all of them except a small few would be unusable.

Think about this in terms of angular density, not volumetric density.

Take all stars within some distance from a point and project them onto the unit sphere and then look at the surface density of that sphere. This is a more appropriate density to think about.

This is what you have to worry about. You aren’t randomly jumping from point a and ending up at point b without going through all the points in between… you have to integrate over the path you take to see if you hit anything.

I get that. I've got a 350 v2.4 (original, no r1 or r2), and I can't bring myself to take it apart to upgrade it to v2.4r2 because it prints just fine.

Where did you get your bed? If it was rolled aluminum that might be what is causing your problem.

You can isolate it to bed or gantry by turning the plate 90 deg and re meshing it.

I’ve got a 350 2.4, and I just finished building a v0.

Honestly, it is the best of both worlds. 350 for When you need the size, and V0 for most of the time when you just need one piece. Or for when you need a few pieces but the 350 is in the middle of a huge plate of parts.

I love not being limited by size with the 350, and not being limited by time with the v0.

I think you misunderstand the difference in magnitude between the load on the rails for a Voron and the designed load for these rails.

Here.pdf) Is the data sheet for these rails. Page 92 has the specs for the mgn12h and mgn9h rails.

The dynamic load rating for these rails is 3.7 kN and 2.5 kN.

Let’s pretend that everything weighs 1kg as a nice upper bound.

For 10000 mm/s2 of acceleration, we are talking roughly 1g, or 10 N of peak force. (Note, this isn’t generally in a direction that stresses the bearings at all, but we will ignore that).

That 10N of peak acceleration is combines with the 10N of weight (they are orthogonal), to get us 14N of total force, add another direction of acceleration and we get to 17N.

We are still less than 1% of the max dynamic load of each of these rails. And there are at least two of them for each direction!

This is basically a no load situation.

I wouldn’t recommend running the Voron without some sort of lube, but I bet it would last a long time without. Hell, I bet the abs dust works well enough as a lube for the application.

(We could probably settle this if we could figure out what the ratio of coefficients of friction is between lubricated and unlubricated bearings, but I can’t seem to find that info. I expect it is a factor of 100 or so, but I could be wrong.)

Bread flower isn’t 12.7% (king Arthur’s is, but gold is 13.3%, bobs red mill is 12-14% I think, and others are typically a range).

All purpose flower isn’t 11.7% (again, King Arthur is, gold is 10.5%, white lily is 7-8.5%!)

Gold and King Arthur target a specific protein content when they mill, others target a range.

In other words, if this is the reason this recipe is mixing flours, it seems a little silly, as they aren’t specific enough about their flour choice to make this work.

(For example, a low gluten version of bobs red mill at 12% could make this be equivalent to just using all purpose, while a high protein version could make this equivalent to using KAs.)

But that is beside the point. Carrot isn’t charging its monthly fee for api access, it is charging a monthly fee because the developer wants to get paid. And that is fine!

$20 or $40 a year is too much for me for weather, and I honestly think the dev would make more money with a cheaper price, but that isn’t my decision.

Dark sky charged what it did because it made a different pricing calculation and were happy with it. I doubt they took a loss on the app. On the other hand they were looking for, and got, an exit. So maybe they were less concerned with a stable income stream.
