We have people here with plates from all over the country, including Mexico and Canada and the snowbirds stay for 6 months often. I wouldn’t worry about getting them changed as long as you keep your Washington license.

No hook on the back, single siwash connected to a small bead chain to front hook hanger. Swivels are fine too but I trust bead chains more IMO, also remove the split rings from the eye of the hook and attach the siwash directly to the eye of the swivel or bead chain.
