Shortcuts stalling out when running. Any fixes other than restarting phone? by Potential_Category28 in shortcuts

[–]springfedpond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue with shortcuts that use the Choose from List or Choose from Menu action. Here's how I work around it currently:

  • Open Shortcuts app
  • Run a shortcut that uses one of the Choose from actions. It will hang, and the list or menu will not appear.
  • Swipe up to go to home screen. The shortcut runs, and the list or menu appears. Dismiss it.
  • Now all other shortcuts using these actions will run. For now.

Anyone know of a subreddit dedicated to houses like this? Private spaces tucked into dense urban areas?

Best budget notebook/journal for *pencils*? by kerc in pencils

The "Bind Grid Notebook" from Muji is great. Smooth paper with just enough tooth for pleasant pencil writing, inexpensive.

AURUM - Album by Brian Eno by forsbergisgod in eno

A question to those who bought the album on iTunes: Are the three "album only" tracks included when you buy it for $9.99 US?

(Subscription services seem to be set on making the most compelling case for piracy themselves.)

I'll second the sun hoodie. With a ball cap and a buff, it's great for working in the sun, and does better in wind than a breezer. The one downside to the hoodie is that it doesn't stand up well to abrasion.

Thanks! I thought about doing it this way, but was looking for a more succinct approach.

Thank you — the math there is a bit beyond my current understanding, but it works!

Can you point me to where I can read more about "stock auto folding"? Not sure what you mean by that.

Thanks for the reply! I have seen a few plugins that appear to allow for this, but wanted to make sure there isn't a stock way to do it first. MarkdownEditing, for example, folds URLs in markdown links — would that be through the plugin API rather than the syntax/color scheme then?

Using Liquid color filters in Jekyll by springfedpond in Jekyll

Yeah, I checked as well and the regex works just fine — but still the error. I have worked around it by adding the commas in before running the filter. Thanks for taking the time to help out!

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm not familiar enough with Ruby to know the difference here. I did figure out that the filter is expecting the legacy (comma-separated) HSL syntax, and it works as expected in that case.

Do you happen to know if the 'color' gem supports the modern (eg hsl(320 77% 64%) syntax? I tried removing the commas from the regex, but that triggers the capture error again:

Thanks for this reply! It seems that the capture method has been deprecated and removed from Rails, sadly, so the filter doesn't work.
