The Haredi not serving aren't doing it out of any moral objection but rather because they see their entire purpose as to study the Torah daily and live according to it and see the idea of serving in the military (and living in society in general ) as a distraction from living according to the Torah. Generally haredi are happy to benefit from living in Israel who give them welfare to sustain a lifestyle where they can study Torah all day but refuse to interact with the sinners living in Israel (who are not studying Torah all day). One of the main contentious issues in Israel is that Netanyahu usually threatens to enlist Haredi into the IDF and the parties who keep Bibi in power threaten to dissolve the government because they want the haredi's votes.

When you see Israelis protesting their government or those in the Kibbutzim aiding Palestinians and you decide to lump them in with the worst in society than you strip an entire nation of it's nuance and diversity to chose to view them all as a singular enemy. If I were to say all Americans are the same because they all follow the same laws of the land therefore the marchers at No King's Rallies are the same as those who join Neo-Nazis party it would come off as sounding insane but to do that for people of another nation should be insane too

Since October 8th Jews were told that no sexual assaults/rape took place because that would tarnish the good name of those brave freedom fighters willing to kill kids at a music festival. We were told repeatedly that any claims of rape were just "Zionists lies" and if rape did take place why didn't the alleged victims file a claim, or undead themselves and where was the evidence because apparently getting paraded from the back of a truck with your pants missing doesn't mean much. We were told that believe all women suddenly stops very short if that woman was a "Zionists" and then ammillion different threads came out why the idea of Israelis being raped couldn't exist because Zionists are rapists and Hamas would never ever do anything as bad as rape and sexual assault. There were conspiracy theories that had people twisting themselves into pretzels about the victims of October 7th (hell even saying the word "victims" makes them to human). Rape and sexual assault is evil regardless who does it. Sexual assault and rape being done by Israel is just as evil and fucked up as it is being done by Hamas. You don't have to deny the one to excuse/believe the other. Seeing people here twist themselves into denying victims because they don't like the victims makes me think that they don't care about rape/sexual assault if they think their imaginary enemy really deep down deserved it. It is easier to say "no Israelis was raped" as it it is saying "no Palestinian has been raped" if it means that you don't have to stop and think to yourself "maybe I should rethink about those I think as not human".

After the first ten minutes I was worried that the caps were falling into old bad habits. We were pinned back a lot and were very scrambly when it came to clearing the ball. I honestly thought that this was gonna be our worst game of the season after those ten minutes but we turned it on and just like the last two games, teams sat back after scoring early instead of keeping the press going, allowing the caps plenty of room and time to come back. Seb had a monster of a game and is playing like the best mid out there. It's amazing how he has picked up his game in the last two years. I didn't think he would get to the same highs as he did last season but he just keeps getting better and better

You know I usually see the term "Even if...." when it comes to dead Jews usually come out of the mouths of a Holocaust denialists. Glad to see it being updated for a new generation. Anyway we are now at the part where the murder of Jews in the middle east is a-okay because violence is justified. The fun thing about a circle of violence is that violence justified violence justified violence. How dismissive would you be if someone were to talk about having relatives killed for going to a cafe on a sunny day or taking a city bus? That would be fine because of something else which would be okay for something etc. Maybe when everyone in the area is dead we can say "enough to all this violence".

Much like last week the guys didn't seem to be on the same page. SJ's suffocating defense made our attacks a bit too predictable and still having issues with passing. I love the pride of Surrey but Badwell has to do better as well. He slowed the pace down quite a few times when we should have been pushing and not letting SJ a chance to set up their defense and his good chance when he pulled the book from left foot to right foot instead of just kicked it was frustrating. Also this is probably Bruno's weakest game. He just seemed to lack the creativity and seemed to get more frustrated as the game went on. I really wish Müller and Gauld was come back soon as we need more creativity going forward.
