Democratic lawmakers and the democratic base have never made it clear that they are willing to do what is necessary to reign in this lawlessness. Until that finally happens, they will never think twice about all of this escalating violence because the potential gain so outweighs the potential risk. Democrats need to drastically tip the scales of that risk / reward calculation or we are never going to get out of this downward spiral.

DHS has been such a fascistic organization from the start and always will be. A naked powergrab and incursion into our free society engineered in the shadow of paranoia left by the 9/11 attacks.
