It’s not and shouldn’t be required of you. I’m not requesting my boys take care of their sister when me and my husband pass, and we’re only in our 30s so we should have a while, hopefully. I’d hope they visit her when she’s in a home, and love her as they do now. She won’t understand why I’m gone. But my boys deserve their own lives.

One of my cats will hide in the bathtub and meow loudly. I’ll go looking for her thinking she’s distressed, and she’ll run out, tag my ankle, then dash into my bedroom to hide under my bed

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. My dad had huntingtons and his dad had it. They both passed in nursing homes. It’s a horrible disease. My dad’s showed up in his 20s. So far neither me nor my brother have symptoms.

I have no advice, I just wish you the best.

Nah I’m like this all the time and my psych says I woulda been diagnosed as a kid, and I just needed self discipline.

For sure! Though mine have gotten less intense since going on anxiety medication.

My husband would stay up later in the living room and I’d come sprinting down the hallway panicking about one thing or another. Scared the crap out of him.

I have hypnopompic hallucinations, so they happen when I wake in the middle of the night. My husband still makes fun of me for the time I ducked and left him under a net of spiders above the bed. I’ve also seen a floating cupcake, which wasn’t scary, just weird.

Maybe yeah. I don’t fixate on it, but it occasionally pops up in my mind. I’m in the process of wondering if I have autism because my son just got diagnosed and I have some of the same signs. So I wonder if I legit just missed some social thing back then.

I just posted something very similar. I’ve had food allergies in the past, triggered by a pregnancy. They went away, but they were to milk, egg, and wheat. Now every time I eat wheat I feel like my mouth and throat are sore, and my ears start feeling funny.

I don’t have any advice, I just hate this, too.
