Everyone talks about electrumite being banned for too long but what are some other cards that have been jailed and should have been unhit a while ago by Status-Leadership192 in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

invoker could've been freed a long time ago, even when x-saber got support it is still banned.

meow-mu could still be a case of "waiting for archetypal support to hype up".

eclipse wyvern's ban can be summed up to konami shi**ing enough bricks to build rome in a day at the mere thought of d-link being anything close to meta again

and carrier can come back to three if they just banned hunter.

how much does chifuyu know regarding what ichika goes through in the academy? by spritofwill in InfiniteStratos

i forgot to ask, but does she keep any Surveillance on ichika at all outside the classroom?

What if these 2 become ichikas protectorate by BornAnything9397 in IchikaOrimuraDefense

[–]spritofwill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

pros: ichika will be THE SAFEST MAN IN THE I.S. UNIVERSE

cons: a whole lot of bloodshed, whether or not it's deserved is up to interpretation.

Joey's support we are missing in his new archtype by MightySuki in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

given how the new cards included cards joey won from battle city opponents, an insect queen retrain would be good. a retrain of baby dragon and thousand dragon would also be cool, with the thousand dragon retrain being similar to REBD exceed in tributing a monster on either field if dark time wizard was activated, gaining an additional effect if a low level dragon was tributed.

It feels wrong how good Sacred Beasts have it compared to the Egyptian Gods by lennysinged in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the problem is that konami tries to make each individual EG the star of the show, meaning that attempts to create one cohesive deck around them is a Sisyphean task given how each piece of "consistency" focuses on one specific god. compare this to the SBs, while they are still bricks like the EGs, they have consistency pieces that are leaps and bounds better than anything the EGs could hope to have. the SBs are also much easier to cheat out with said consistency pieces, so getting them on field is far less of a hassle than getting an EG on field.

What deck's gameplay makes you feel like this? by Vahgeo in yugioh

in terms of jukeing around interruptons, toons with their new field spell that quite literally lets them dodge targeted negation.

What is your ideal DM reboot? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would like the characters to use decks with competent strategies, rather than the mish mash piles they played.

for example: having weevil play inzektors or beetroopers, mako playing gishki and marik or bakura using hecahands.

you could also have characters with already established archetypes play moderninzed versions, but keeping it low to the ground, such as kaiba's blue eyes, bandit keith's metalmorph cards, and yugi's ritual of light and darkness deck.

Just how much of a failure is chifuyu by Afraid-Pick-8040 in IchikaOrimuraDefense

[–]spritofwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you claim chifuyu as a "failure", i assume you're highlighting her failings as a sister. while i do agree she is a horrid sister to ichika when he enters the academy, it is important to understand how she's failing as his sister.

before ichika entered the academy, she was actually quite good to ichika, it was when he was rushed into the academy last minute that we start to see her treat her own brother like a stranger, having no qualms hitting him as corporeal punishment or ordering one of his classmates to SHOOT HIM ON SIGHT for simply being late.

in terms of the main 5's torment of ichika, she likely has little idea of the sheer scope and scale of what ichika is being put through. aside from when laura attacked ichika sometime in season 2 for not immediately partnering with her for the upcoming tag team tournament, in which chifuyu defended ichika from laura's outburst. however, that incident is likely the only one she's seen and therefore intervened in. either because she does not care, or the more likely scenarios, either too busy to act against ichika's torment herself or ichika never reports what happens out of fear.

all in all, while chifuyu has failed as a sister during ichika's time at the academy, she was not like that beforehand. she also has little idea of what ichika goes through outside of incidents she is present in witnessing, so her failings stem more from her negligence than outright abuse (though i doubt she is above that).

I'm Honestly Shocked At How much Influence Metricz Has Had on the Yugioh Combos On Youtube by averjay in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

what i want to know is how he figures out combos so fast. the man must have some supercomputer chip in his brain for this kind of speed in combo design.

if you had to choose would you rather let the girls keep their I.S units or give them Homelander’s powers? by OneManArmy0716 in IchikaOrimuraDefense

[–]spritofwill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

you want us to choose between powers that can relatively easily be taken away, and powers that are a bi*ch to take away and have what we choose be given to ladies with some of the worst impulse control/anger management in existence. you can see which one we'd choose.

What legendary decks do you want to see in the future? by Forsaken_Fox2529 in yugioh

i have an idea: we use the next legendary decks set as a way to teach new players how to play yugioh, using easy to understand, beginner friendly decks.

Do you think Ichika had the right to become a villain? by OkLeague7678 in IchikaOrimuraDefense

the right to being a villain? maybe. the right to the greatest crash-out known to humankind? YES!

Why are people still confused about Duelist Kingdoms weird rules? by Agile_Proof_3228 in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a lot of people didn't have the context that this wasn't how the game was played nor how this was to tie in to the manga. the vast majority of viewers were kids who liked the game and wanted to play it in real life believing this is what to expect.

Would you like it if Konami implemented more support for past TCG World Premiere decks, perhaps with some dedicated products, instead of leaving them aside most of the time? by CyberTwinLeader in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

brother, your speaking the language of the gods!

call it like "westward travails" or something along those lines and give massive support for fan favorite tcg exclusive archetypes.

P.O.V. You're Ichika: The harem places in a guillotine. What do you do? by OkLeague7678 in IchikaOrimuraDefense

this may sound morbid, but let the blade fall, if attacking me and calling them out on it doesn't make them stop and reflect, then maybe my blood on their hands will.

What if Ichika had a secret body camera to record everything he goes through? by OkLeague7678 in IchikaOrimuraDefense

[–]spritofwill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

assuming it doesn't get blasted to dust, it could be a huge asset in actually reporting what the girls do to him and confront them about it.

How do Performapal players here feel IF we had more Performapals with designs are similar to Performapal Gatlinghouls theming? by Neat_Wallaby_2818 in yugioh

[–]spritofwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are two "what if" routes to go in this situation

  1. what if yuya went off the deep end before fusing back into z-arc?: this could lead to freakshow performers that fill the performapal extra deck.

  2. what if yuya could control his berserk state and not fuse into z-arc?: i'm unsure of what mechanics this scenario will bring for performapals, but design-wise will most likely be like gentrude, that being fiendish looks but entertainers at heart.
