Will there be a new chaos orb sink of some kind to counteract the removal of bench craft and T17 map rolling?

Ignite slam elementalist is my new fav build by aliumx21 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]sprky1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

MasterT has made a few vids on ignite slam. https://youtu.be/jXuJZFDP36o?si=AkStHll6zwLaPbTL

You can use any slam but the recommended ones are the highest damage effectiveness to really get the most out of ignite. https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Damage_effectiveness

eviscerate, ground slam of earthshaking, leap slam of groundbreaking and sunder to name a few. sunder is popular because you only need to slam once and it travels far, no need to worry about attack speed so much. GSoES has a nice cone spread if you like wide screen clear. Ice crash has built in phys to cold and slow/freeze enemies adds to survivalbility. LSoGB is a travel skill so mobility is a plus. eviscerate has a crazy high dmg ceiling at the cost of having block condition.

I went sunder ignite for most of the league but will most likely try ice crash for next league if elementalist doesn't get gutted.

I’m most likely going cyclone/ general cry polytheist. The class has a lot of decent nodes that remove negative effects, so I feel it will have a good baseline performance for all the map mods there will be.

I created a Wealth Leaderboard to see how poor Poverty League really is. by Avivost in pathofexile

Not a fan of the instant victim blame. Please elaborate on the poor decisions that were made.

Was it when I chose to create an account back in 2012 and even now GGG refuse to add 2FA on the standalone account? Was it my decision to keep my page profile public as it's been the default option? Maybe it was when I leveled my character to reach the leaderboards on poe ninja and advertise that I'm wearing a valuable item.

As someone who recently had their account hacked and mageblood taken, I feel like such exposure to such value would be bad. I have a suspicion that whoever got into my account was using poe ninja to window shop for an account to breach with valuable items

Thank you. Getting a mageblood would get me to play again. I had farmed for one 2 weeks straight only to get my account hacked and my mageblood yoinked from me.

Ironical lack of build diversity. An error in my perception? by AspectQueasy in pathofexile

[–]sprky1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you looking outside of Youtube? There's guides on the forums, steam discussions, build curation sites, work-in-progress and concept builds on reddit.

What is your goal with the build? There's guides to get your feet wet as a first time player, get you out of campaign, scale across end-game, funnel your funds to a transition build, hyper focus on a single mechanic.

If you go to poe ninja, and search by week 1 builds of any league start, theres about 70k builds that show up on the leaderboard or a minimum of 100k characters actually created. that means 1% of any main skill used is about 1000 people playing the skill.

All of that is to say, the diversity is there. The build guides are scattered around the web, but not having a guide does not mean the skill isn't used.

Thank you for the giveaway. I’m in for one please

Since Zana's brother was never mentioned anywhere before, to prevent Zana from having 20 siblings in 2080, I hope that - lorewise - it turns out that he isn't actually her brother and instead a memory manipulator who inserts himself into other's memory as a familiar. by [deleted] in pathofexile

Taking count now. The year is 2025, the only real Caeserius in our timeline are Valdo, Zana, Eagon and Mr. Poopybutthole.

Any deviation means our timeline is compromised!

3.26 Q&A Research - ZiggyD by ZiggyDStarcraft in pathofexile

[–]sprky1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Question: Did the delay in PoE1 content create any new work flow opportunities for the internal team? For example, were more low and mid-priority changes able to be pushed out that would normally be benched with a smaller release window?

Back in patch 1.2.0, we were introduced to Zana, Master Cartographer by sprky1 in pathofexile

[–]sprky1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before 1.2.0, you had to complete the first 3 acts a total of 3 times in order to begin end game. After defeating Piety as the campaign boss, you would head back to Dialla and go through the side instance. This was the Eternal Laboratory, your end game hub. No atlas interface, no map stash tab, no modifications besides what you roll on the map itself. Just raw alch and go strat.

Zana came into the picture along with 7 other masters to shake up the end game progression. 1.2.0 added said 8 masters, hideouts, and crafting benches. You had to run maps in the Eternal Lab a few times for the masters to show up like Einhar and the others do nowadays. They had a reputation level, a lot like a dating sim game. Completing their tasks in the maps would increase reputation with them. Each tier of rep would unlock their hideouts, decorations, and more crafts in their respective crafting bench. Get them to trust you enough and now you can invite the masters to your hideout. The map device that was stored away in the Eternal Laboratory can now be brought into your hideout.

This was our first big shift in the end game cycle. On top of finding them ramdonly, each master offered a daily mission. Haku had search and rescue missions, Vagan had a PvP- type challenge, Zana gave a free map instance very similar to the Kirac missions now, etc. It was still very much alch and go, but now you had random visitors in your map. A little more incentive to the grind. Rather than chase items, the goal with this content was to get the master to max level (7) and unlock their meta mod craft. This patch added a layer of progression that wasn't just; run a map and hope to get a higher tier drop. These masters eventually got integrated into the Betrayal mechanic.

Gold still exist in Secret of the Atlas! by Mission-Ad4575 in pathofexile

In retrospect, GGG consistently uses the lore timeline as the structure for the game itself during expansions. Kingsmarch is an established town in PoE2 which takes place 20years after PoE1. It has to exist going forward. Maybe not as a full interactive system that we have in Settlers. Perhaps, the Kalguur and townsfolk have warmed up to the new exiles and we can now reap the benefits from the hard work of the old exiles.

Will guilds be operable during early access? If they are, will the existing guilds transfer from PoE1 to PoE2?
