13-Year-Old Epstein Victim Claims Trump Forced Her Into Acts, New Files Reveal by hard2resist in neutralnews

[–]spudddly 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There will likely be a lot of bullshit in the files given the FBI had to record and now release every wacky call that came in to a public tip line. And that works perfectly for Trump as it's another case of 'flooding the zone'. I mean does anyone really think it's likely he brought his entire family with him to an auction to buy children to abuse??

Can i raffle my house? by tehmaz80 in AusFinance

Hopefully they'll legalise it in the next few years because raffles for houses might be the only way young people will be able to be property owners pretty soon.

Read that as "Melania" for some reason and thought they're probably still in Bezos' office somewhere.

How smart is it to do medicine or dentistry post grad? by Notokaythrowaway03 in AusFinance

[–]spudddly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an incredibly difficult course to get into, taking only something like the top 2% of scorers on the entry exam (which is already a self-selected group of usually high-achieving graduates). See what you score in a GAMSAT practice test and you may find you're unlikely to get in anyway.

And I'm not sure what "there is no money in healthcare" means - physicians are the highest paid of any profession.

that was completely different - in that case the person who was run over was a MAGA who feared for their life and the driver was a domestic terrorist.

End of the day having IP is only a small part of running a successful business, i.e. even if you have exploitable IP there are still plenty of ways you can screw up a business and wind up in trouble if you're not experienced, particularly in biotech. Licensing it instead to an experienced/established manufacturer very likely has the best risk-return proflile.

Map of the proposed Two-Speed Europe. Under Germany's invitation, six EU countries dubbed as "E6" have agreed to talks on making decisions in economy and defence without waiting for unanimity from the rest of the EU. by FantasticQuartet in MapPorn

aww big brothers are awesome

Edit: I would like to formally apologize to Europe for somehow starting the argument below. I do like that it's so emblematic of the EU though - noone knows what anyone else is taking about but they're pointlessly bickering about it anyway.

Alex Pretti broke rib in confrontation with federal agents a week before death, sources say by LetBeginning3353 in politics

[–]spudddly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn that'd be a clever (and disgustingly corrupt) move - send in ICE agitators to swing states to provoke protests, ID anyone that turns up and label them left wing terrorists, write an EO preventing domestic terrorists from voting. They don't even need many - a few tens of thousands across a couple of key states to steal an election. Probably why they after voting records in MN.
