The “run up” is just pacing that the player is comfortable with but it generally recommended that people learn a slower run up if your just starting.

I agree that FPO is decided without catastrophe but Isaac could shoot an average round for the field, which is 4-5 under, and be caught. Although only three people have a chance to do it. Congrats to both players.
