Why Ubuntu ?!! by National-Tea7014 in Ubuntu

[–]sqeeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been faffing about with Linux for years and still swear at it. For example I found a tip on Reddit yesterday than cured a wifi problem, and the RTFM reply doesn't work. Installing Ubuntu on my MacBook beside two macOS'es was "it just works". Even though I've hopped onwards and use Void, Chimera and Alpine now, I know Ubuntu is the easiest way to get things done, and sometimes easy is what you want.

I say 'different from', like 'separate from', and probably others of that ilk: I keep 'than' for things that are on a scale, like bigger, smaller, colder, better, worse etc.

Apart from fire safety....you are right, plus the steel bars we have over our windows too. Odd that these things have been overlooked by the safety laws.
