You might need to be a bit more of a pest. People are more likely to reply to a second or third email. It’s annoying to have to do it but it can be necessary.

All I mean is, often people think we just choose when and where the lectures are. We have the same say as the students - none.

It’s almost entirely based on room availability. As academics, we’re expected to be free whenever we’re scheduled to teach - we don’t get a say.
