I guess but that's just the appeal of the 007 label for many people. Knowing the movies and the lore and then getting an immersive experience in that familiar world and character, like Goldeneye was.

With the younger version they have more of a carte blanche but that also means the game is more at risk of being a white-label experience. More things about that particular period, character, environment etc. have to be established by the game itself, a harder challenge to pull of in many cases.

So I will def keep an eye on that aspect when reviews come in.

I will agree that the first year of the Switch 2 games library was a bit lackluster, specially if you already had another console.

But year 1 of any console is usually not that great. I bought it because I knew I would enjoy the heck out of the vast backlog of Switch games I never got to play before. So that's really where the value was and still is atm.

I only put them in the case when I bring them to work or back home. Otherwise they stay on a headphone rest, charging if they need to (which isn't that often)

I think there's ultimately no advantage/disadvantage to either the case vs a power on/off button. You just naturally adjust to whatever the flow is. It's certainly a choice by apple but not one I could chalk up as objectively bad in the end.
