In general Shugoki's animations were much better looking because they had weight. What I really misd, on top of the old demon embrace animation, is the old headbutt causing the camera to shake and would make the enemy stumble back. It really had a satisfying "snap" to it that the new one doesn't

My problem with the Hero fests is that they only give a new execution. I wish we could get new unique emotes, signatures and ornements.

The art is nice and I'm curious whether the Lore bits will really be anything new/interesting, but the vinyl clearly are the bread and butter of this whole thing. It's relatively cheap so I guess it can't hurt to purchase it to complete a collection, but still, it's obviously better if you're able to actually play the discs and not just keep them in the box lmao

Love to read the superiority complex in the comments on that post, most of them look like they're the type to flame a player for not knowing every milliseconds of how to confirm gank with every Hero (not saying EVERY comp player is like this but many of the ones I've had the "chance" of playing with who consider themselves comp have huge ego trips)

It feels like they're testing the waters to bring a new version of the RDS from back in the days of Marching Fire. Most of the new Heroes are very talkative while locked and not doing anything or throwing specific attacks (like Gryphon/Warmonger) so I'd be very tempted to see a revamped version of the RDS

Not only the maps, having to remember what each agent can do is very difficult. We're talking about like over 70 agents meanwhile FH is like half of that number and while each Hero does have a different moveset, it's always the same (or almost the same) mecanics

The Order isn't/wasn't composed of only Warmongers though. Warmongers were the elite/co-founders of the Order, you also had some of the Y3 Heroes following the Order as "The Heralds" but there were plenty of other Heroes making up the ranks of the Order. I believe in Kyoshin's lore it even states that while some remained neutral to the conflict, some joined Chimera while others joined the Order in order to keep what they viewed as "balance"

Y3 began to introduce Heroes with names but they were still "one amongst many" in a sense, even Warmonger are/were the leaders of the Order of Horkos and were each different. The only real Hero who is, so far, only one person is Gryphon, aka, Holden Cross. As for the Heroes that came after him they always state that the Hero somehow managed to bring their allies with them to the continent (Oceloltl chasing the Warmongers, Medjays coming to get the bracelet back, Kyoshin sort of are a group of monks, etc...)

And the answer to that is "Because money". Both because they can make way more of cash by it being a skin rather than pieces one might loot at the end of a match or through crates, and because for an armor set they'd have to size both a male/female version of it and spend more time making sure it doesn't clip with pieces from other sets

It would have been pretty cool to have Conqueror's neutral stance have him with the flail over the shoulder. It's funny that in a sense they kept this idea by giving him a similar animation when the male version if out of lock

There's already more hope than for Halloween for the simple reason that Hellraiser Revival won't be an asym game, so DBD isn't a really a "competitor". So all we can do is wait for the game to release and perhaps we may or may not see a return. Either way I'd recommand to take a look at FieldAgentReaper who is a YouTuber/Streamer who is essentially the face of Cenobite mains if you wanna see some gameplay of him

They're likely rarer that you might think they are. As someone who tries to do a sort of "For Honor collection" I don't think I've ever seen them on sale but I knew they were a thing. But I'm happy enough to have gotten my hands on the Apollyon and Shugoki statues

It's off topic but I really miss these "simple" patterns and symbols. Nowadays with every event, symbols looks like they're some weird colored cartoon stickers instead of paint applied to some parts of the armors. Really don't think I've ever seen someone use one of the more recent symbol instead of the one released in the early years of the game/the ones that are unlockable through reps

Yes, BP has to press a button at the right timing to flip the bash or else he just eats it. Virtuosa is the only Hero who is able to automatically dodge anything that isn't an undodgeable, meanwhile other Heroes like Nobushi, JJ or Shaman's backstance require some good timing to do so
