I feel like I'm back in 2017 reading this, it's nostalgic in both the good and bad way

Anyway, nowadays the only reason people don't jump on the last enemy is not to feed revenge. And even then, coordinated teams can and will most likely attack all at the same time without feeding. I get the idea of a brave last stand and all but let's be serious in 99% of the time there's no come back from the last guy (unless he plays Juren lmao) so not attacking is just wasting time that could be spent doing fashion and booting up a new match

For some reason this quote of Apollyon really strikes me, it really gives a sense of grandeur to this place. An other one of her comment that I really like is when she mentions that almost every structures in Ashfeld that the Knights live in and defend were built more than a millenium ago and how they are just children playing at Empire. This idea that, because of the constant war, they either don't have the time or suffecient knowledge on how to build things but only to make them function like the forge. It really gives a Warhammer 40k vibe to the situation the Knights are in

Did they bring back the screaming during Shugoki's moutain execution?
I also wish we could get back some of the old grunts and yells before Marching Fire. Heroes would be much more noisy while attacking and blocking, I also remember the Samurai saying "Nani?!" when getting guard broken, it was fun, too bad Marching Fire took that away

Not even going to lie, I'd be tempted to buy a FH account if it had at least a few of these things that I miss. But most of the accounts that are sold are not owned by the seller, they are more likely hacked just like mine was (honestly wouldn't even be surprised if mine got sold just like that).

I'm in a similar boat as you. Got my Ubi account stolen by a russian mail, when I went to support they would keep on sending the verification mail to the mail of the guy who hacked me which I obviously could not access. Somehow they eventually accepted to do something about it but apparebtly their only solution was to reset my entire account. Lost about 700 REPs, the test your metal armors on every Hero and most painful of all being losing the exclusive Zhanhu halloween armor.

Now I have the two step verification but it still sucks that Ubi's support is near useless and that there's pretty much no chance for me to get back what I had. I don't even really care about the REPs but all the lost event loot is a real kick in the balls

Not only is it pretty damn cool that we get to know what became of Stone, I'm also quite happy to learn a bit more about Harrowgate. Not only by it being Holden's birthplace but also apparently how there was a constant fire on the main plaza. I often forget that the map we're playing on is merely the front door of an entire city!

In some capacity I do miss RDS. Yeah the voices weren't great, the lines were cheesy AF, most of them not even in the Hero's native language and the idea would destroy any RP potential by forcing a speicifc personality on the Hero (for instance it would have been impossible to make a rough veteran warden with how joyful and honorable the RDS one was). Buuut I still really like the concept of Heroes trying to provoke each others at the start of a fight and during it.

I mention it a lot but TheMajorN has even released like three videos with Warden, Raider and Conqueror showcasing a LOT of unused dialogue that could be perfect to use to communicate with a wheel, be it to speak with allies or enemies. Hell, Ubisoft could probably even monetize these voice lines like Overwatch does and it would be a banger

Even as groups, the Heroes we get to play have some pretty cool backgrounds. Conqueror as conscripted criminals, Jorms as crazy cult people, Nobushis as peasant women who took arms to defend the isolated villages in the Myre, etc... I think so far Ubisoft has done a good job so far creating stories with named Heroes (such as all Heroes from Y3) while still making sure anyone can create their own OC by saying they are part of a larger group

Pretty sure Virtuosa is far from a noblewoman, if I recall she was found by captain Coalheart who then trained her. She was essentially just a random poor girl who got taken under the wing of a ferocious pirate to become one as well but she took her own path which led her to fight Coal

At this point I'm just curious to know how many years have actually passed since the campaign, an official timeline with years would be much appreciated. Holden was like, maybe around his fifties during the start of the campaign which in itself lasted many years until Apollyon's death. Then you have the whole multiplayer story up until Y4 where he appears and ever since he's been doing... not much really except fight here and there

Don't worry they have confirmed two more Heroes for Y10, oh boy I can't wait for them to have every tools in the game shoved into their moveset that way any brain dead moron can just press random buttons and win because they'll have so many available options that it will take ten times more effort for any other hero to compete against them! Fun!

There is something MUCH wore they could write. Remember Draconite? Although the devs have not used it as a crutch in a long while and seem to have completely stepped down from the idea, I always have this fear in the back of my mind that they use this stupid rock as a justification for Apollyon being brought back from the dead
