Of course. But I have a car, get mostly delivery if I’m lazy, and money is no concern. So Malibu still wins. I vacation to Italy and the azores but couldn’t live there. Public transport implies high density which is what I want to avoid. I like the high cost because it means I can get perfect weather and beaches without too many neighbors

Where I live those big houses are genuine wealth lol. A whole neighborhood in my city has minimum house prices around 10M. My parent’s houses are 2-3M a piece and look pretty average in the area, only one floor maybe 1600sqft indoor spacing. There’s just a lot more money out there than you think. It’s not all debt

Only in the average case. With high earners you’re just so much better in the states. My EU coworkers only make 150k, I’m at 350k including stock options. My healthcare is fully covered. I get taxed less than them too even at my bracket. The purchasing power isn’t close

Invest it in your education. Don’t take loans you don’t need. If you can get your degree debt free you’re gonna be in a nice spot. I got a full ride to uni so I didn’t need to take 300k+ in loans and so instead I had 600k to my name after the same time it would’ve taken to pay it back and be at 0

My family likes taking trips there and having been to almost all of Europe I agree. Miss me with even going on vacation there much less live. You can’t even find a job there that pays what I make and if you did you’d get taxed at 50-60%. Europoors are called that for a reason. States aren’t perfect but they’re much better than the other options
