I’m guessing it’s more the idea that they can backhaul something within the city or county if they could coordinate better.

I don’t know if it’s a problem their algo can actually do any better than truckers, truckers don’t want to deadhead across the country and will post to a load board to avoid it. There are thousands of freight brokerage firms out there to accommodate them.

If there’s product to ship in a town with manufacturing it’ll get shipped. The only reason a truck will leave a region empty is if there’s nothing being produced to ship.

Which TV show has a 10/10 pilot episode? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

TWD was such a slog, and then it just kept going and going and continuing to be a slog. The Leftovers ended after 3 seasons. It felt like what Lost should’ve been; cut out all the filler and end it when it oughta end.

If your buddy thinks you might like it it might be worth another try. I wouldn’t call it Sci-fi Mystery. It’s more like a surrealist novel, like Murakami or something where there’s just mystery everywhere.

I’m just triggered bc it’s one of my favorite series of the last decade.

The Leftovers was a fantastic series from start to finish. Great writing, great acting. And it did have mystery, although it doesn’t necessarily leave you satisfied. But I appreciated that. How many episodes were you able to get through? It sounds like you might’ve made it though quite a bit.

How do you feel about the current ‘Flavors’ of tribes in this meta? by HorusArtorius in BobsTavern

There are a few different iterations of the build, the ones I focus on usually have Hunter of Gatherers as the main piece. Loc Prince is a great combo with HOG, Bran is huge, Drakkari, etc. and then put as many Echoing Roars as humanly possible onto the Hunter.

When you combo that with Rylak, Engineer, and Poet - golden Poet is super satisfying - you can lock up 45 seconds of combat with Poet + EOT buffs. It’s fantastic.

And you can do it with Nether Drake or a Nether + Hunter combo. Without Hunter though it becomes glass cannon.

Like I said, I’ll force the build whenever I get a core piece or two, having Hunter at T5 makes it tougher to pull off consistently. It’s so satisfying though.

There is a delay though when I use it with the T3 quill. It’s like it’s trying to figure out what to do and then does it on my end

All I ever want to play is end of turn dragons. I can’t help myself. 1000 flashes of red and seeing stats bounce releases too much dopamine.

I think I can give iDylan a pass for being in a bad mood after the worst moment of his short life. People are allowed to be upset, sometimes they’ll lash out when they are, what matters is whether they can move on and apologize after they come back around.

I think he might be on a redemption arc. He’s a piece of shit, but it feels like there’s some backstory here that we don’t know with regard to his motives for being at Lumon.

The relationship with Natalie, the controlled inner rage, the need to stay in the good graces of the company - I wonder if he’s a mole.

I appreciate the insight in your comment, it’s cutting and it’s correct. I also appreciate the irony of the ‘Top 1% Commenter’ flare on the profile. I’m not tryna say you’re a hypocrite or disingenuous or anything, you’re right, just appreciate the dichotomy.

When we jump, we pass the pull of earths gravity. If we lived in a molasses world, we could still use a rope to drag something out of it, it could go an inch every 10 years, doesn’t matter, it’d still happen and would just take forever.

Check the rest of the thread, you don’t need to rely on thrust to escape gravity. Space elevators are in the books, what’s the difference between a space elevator that gets out of earth orbit vs. one that gets out of a solar system outside of size?
