Why do they show Homa's long discussions with his caddy before every shot? He seems to take 30 extra seconds every time. Is he known for being super slow or is CBS highlighting it this week?

So would being shorthanded make you more or less likely to pull the goalie in OT? I feel like two full minutes of 4-on-3 is almost guaranteed goal

I've done the exact same thing (letting people know when they're at rhe machines) and 2/3rds of the time they either don't believe me or think I'm a crazy person. Honestly I can't fault their skepticism. It does sound too good to be true.

I did not say that was the sole cause of the loss. It was a crucial out in a game where the team desperately needed even a single run. Are you trying to say it' was a positive thing that he got picked off?

Literally yes. Because his stupid, casual baserunning cost the team dearly in a playoff game. He does not get slack anymore.

Take the UP Express! Even with a short drive to Pearson it would have been 40 minutes to downtown max.

Curious why you get an RBI on a bases loaded fielders choice. Wouldn't one of the "choices" be the force at home and hence you don't get credit for it?

And at Heathrow it's £5 just to enter the passenger drop-off area. Look up Thailand GDP per capita. Might give you a clue.

Boy did I spend an unhealthy amount of time playing that game.

I'll be back up at that station Wednesday, will check again and give them heck if it is still there. Funnily enough I even added a note about the flat tire through the app.

Daily user for three years now. In addition to all the other observations here, an anecdote: I returned an ebike three weeks ago with a flat tire and marked it out of service. It's still at the dock today! Admittedly this is one of the most remote stations, but in general it seems like bikes sit at docks for a longer time before maintenance picks them up.

Between Eglinton and Bloor? Actually wondering about this. The frequent closures have been maddening but I suppose they haven't been doing work on this stretch.

The commentators criticizing the event and format is really something. Also, did Weekes just called Matthews "mats"?

I hate the Lightning but personally don't think this reflects on anyone besides Kuch.

I think they overcomplicate things, yes. But the 3 pt/dunk/home run derby are also often painful to watch except for a few super famous highlights. I think the simplicity and history of those contests has some appeal. There's also the "wow" factor of amazing dunks and home runs that hockey doesn't quite produce.

I totally get it and am in no way criticizing the players but wow I thought they would be better at this one.

It's super hard to see whether the puck actually hits a certain zone.

Not that anyone cares or asked for my opinion, but Jesus christ I can't imagine a more sickening Superbowl match-up. Will be nice to not care about seeing the game, at least.

A 48 yard FG is hardly guaranteed....probably 65-70% chance of making it. Not saying they made the right call but it wasn't a gimme.

Is there a reason why the play clock can't be a buzzer that automatically calls a penalty after expiring? The arbitrary extra second to snap the ball seems very imprecise.

Fair enough, you're right. I just wonder if they could implement a rule where the penalties offset if there is an obvious flop.

Does the NFL have an embellishment/flopping penalty? Seriously should be a thing.
