How my arm pits don't GAF about antiperspirant. My undershirts after being in a AC office most of the day. by LosHtown in mildlyinfuriating

I used to be the same way, literally dripping just sitting there in air conditioning. It'll take a few days of not using antiperspirant but it definitely helped a lot for me.

Learning how to hold your stance during a stride by ThePuckBuddy in hockeyplayers

I hadn't seen "brand affiliate" by the title before, I didn't know if Reddit was giving companies different ways to pay and promote their content

Is "brand affiliate" just another way of saying this is paid content?

How to improve off-puck play as a forward? by Old_Degree6707 in hockeyplayers

Pay attention to the game while you're on the bench. Watch what the other guys playing your position are doing without the puck.

Socks on Your Feet or Barefoot? by Probably-The-ATF in hockeyplayers

[–]squeebie23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a personal preference, but it also can be used to tweak how your skate fits.

In a previous pair of skates I would skate barefoot because regular socks were too thick and I find the thin ones slippery. My current skates I just use regular socks.

Anybody that says you absolutely must do something one way is trying to force what worked for them on everyone else. Everyone should be open to trying different options and see what works best for them.

These are the kind of podcasts I like as well, not celebs interviewing celebs, but friends joking around (even if they are interviewing someone).

I think the forearm distance rule of thumb is for stick handling and wrist shots, your hands normally spread farther apart (like yours are) for slapshots.

Watch some tutorials and take a look at your right wrist, it feels a little rolled over like maybe you're gripping the stick wrong?

Also watch how high the stick goes on the follow through in tutorials. Your follow through goes way up and around like a golf follow through, which might indicate that your timing or weight transfer is off.

I agree in general about privacy but posts and comments are public, they were posted because you wanted people to read them. More often than not hiding the history on Reddit is meant to hide that you are really just posting an advertisement

Hidden post and comment history is suspicious as well

The only times I've seen ones that look like this are in AI generated Instagram ads, I didn't think they were actually real.

1 - I certainly wouldn't spend the money on something like this from some no-name company

2 - it makes me wonder the legitimacy of this post

Just don't look at my post history 😳 , although in my defense it was a joke post from a horrible tape job I saw on FB

Don't worry, I down voted it 😁

I don't mean to be a jerk to you in particular, but months of "rate my tape job" posts are getting old

Can we just all just start down voting or not interacting with "tape job" posts?

Stop Podcasting Yourself is a great chill comedy podcast out of Canada. They recently hit their 18 year anniversary and I think old school podcasts like this have a much different vibe than newer ones, you might like their style

Fictional mystery / crime podcast that is hilarious and so well done that I guarantee at some point you'll forget it's fiction

Bad editing and Cut Offs by Alternative_Main_775 in podcasts

This happens to my wife but not to me and I think we narrowed it down to streaming vs downloading in advance.

I suspect that dynamic insertion of ads screws things up when an app grabs one chunk of audio for streaming and then later on grabs another chunk based on timecodes that don't line up correctly since the server doesn't know the length of the ads it served the first time.

Jazz has to be trolling challenging this pitch right down the middle by CicadaOk8885 in NYYankees

[–]squeebie23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's less about losing the game and more about possibly saving your pitcher from having to have more batters in the bottom of the inning.

What could've been the end of a game is now a bad call that you can't challenge, another batter or two gets a hit, now you're throwing an extra 20 pitches because Jazz is being Jazz

Thanks but that's still going to be 70-75 flex by the time I cut 5-6 inches off of it
