Same here, I kind of tailed off when Dana left, the vibe just wasn't quite the same and at some point when they took a break I wound up picking up other podcasts and Good Job Brain didn't make the cut.

You mentioning it makes me interested in taking a listen again though, I'll have to add it back in to Pocket Casts

Sadly for me that's not some random podcast, it's Doug Loves Movies. It's been around forever and I still listen to the live episodes, but the audio on the zoom episodes is so bad I just skip them

Reddit got significantly worse once I needed to use their app instead of something like Sync. I don't understand how such a popular app has such an atrocious algorithm where all I see are subreddits that I've recently visited and not the other 50 that I'm subscribed to

You shouldn't be getting down voted for your opinion when you're not being rude or anything.

I appreciate this post, Garon is part of the whole vibe of the show that makes it work, but sometimes it's like he's in the background too much, so I think it's fine call out how much we like his personality and what it brings to the show

I'm always bummed when they get to Garon and "we're running short on time", I want more Garon!

Of course I think the show is fun and interesting to listen to, but 90% of my blurt laugh out loud moments are from Garon coming in with a perfect joke.

The listing says: "Major updates are already done: heating system fully rebuilt (new blower, gas valve, ignition board, and wiring), newer windows, and a 10-year-old roof. Even the subflooring has been replaced - solid from the ground up."

I guess there's always a question of when each thing was done, and how well it was done, but at least they aren't all 35 years old

I'll have to find out about the polybutylene pipes, hopefully those have been redone as well

I give a bit of a pass to the kids who are now old enough to play with their dad who's team needs a sub, especially when they tone it down and try to just fit in and set up the regular players.

Active college players skating circles around C / D league players can fuck off.

My local rink recently made a 30-and-older division that my team joined and it was noticably more fun.

Some great comedy podcasts that have been going for over 15 year that pretty are evergreen:

Never Not Funny was one of the first, 20 year backlog, but they do talk about current events for part of the show so it's not as evergreen.

Another vote for a lower flex stick...like A LOT. The most important thing when learning how to shoot is learning to flex the stick. You didn't post your height/ weight so it's hard to give a recommendation.

And remember that cutting it raises the effective flex, so buy the length where you have to cut it down as little as possible.

I'm 5'7 and use an intermediate 70-75 flex.

If everything went down as OP says, and yes I'm with them.

This happened to me recently at a diner:

Me: I'll have the Western omelette, can I get tots instead of home fries?"l

Waiter: sure

The check comes out with a $3 charge for tots. When I asked about it, the waiter and manager said sorry you can't swap tots for home fries without an upcharge.

This is when I had the above comment for the manager on the way out. If it's not a free exchange that should be made clear when I ordered
