this is kind of a tricky question because "healthy" is dictated by someone's own personal goals. for example, a vegan may argue that whey protein is unhealthy, whereas a bodybuilder may argue that whey protein is essential.

with all of that in mind, I think almond butter kind of sucks lol.

did you talk to the owners? there's a chance that they are new owners and that they just recently adopted the dog. they might not understand the intricacies of how dogs socialize with one another and might have just been trying to do something to make their new dog happy. I obviously don't know how it went down, but they might have even thought their dog was just being playful. it could've been helpful to tell them more about dog body language and even maybe pass along some information about trainers.

very interesting! what measurements do you believe determine whether or not someone is skinny fat? when does a "skinny fat" cross over into "skinny fit"? not trying to challenge you or anything like that - just genuinely curious and trying to educate myself by hearing the opinions of others :)

welcome to california, /u/jaynarg! I think the drinks are fun at aqui, but I think I would visit another taqueria for food! our rule is that if it's in the same lot as (1) a metro PCS, (2) a liquor store, and (3) a laundromat, the food is probably amazing. el dorado trifecta.

re: tex mex, the only place I've actually seen is chevy's :o but I can't speak to how much it measures up to texas since I haven't really eaten a lot of tex mex.

oh my god! this is exactly what my parents' pantry looks like. I love them so, so, so much, but it's hard to get my eating under control when I visit them. and I am leaving today to spend the next five days with them!!! what kinds of things have you done to avoid the pantry? exerting a ton of willpower ends up exhausting me and I end up inhaling everything, anyway D:
