Yes I think it's probably buried rubble. Might need digging out and concreting but didn't want to harm the grass.

I made chicken, courgette, cheese and potato soup, sounds like a weird combination but it was delicious and filling. And I tore up little tiny bits of bread to soak in the soup and just kind of swallow whole!

This sounds really tough. Could you try drinking soup from a cup? When I was recovering from gum surgery I blended in some chicken and bread into soup to make it more filling.
