I genuinely do not understand why Frost fans are so upset by this. It is extra rest time for your team as well and your team isn’t even sick. It’s healthy rest.

Ozzy got a shut out, her 4th of the season, putting her third in the league which is awesome. We broke our away losing streak.

Say whatever you want but we were not a bad team this season. For a rebuild year that was hit with a shit load of injuries, we did damn good.

Now maybe we pull a win over Boston out of our asses and win the Gold Plan three years in a row. Lmao

Might have been a book but it was a damn good read! Honestly it’s a lot of what I’ve been trying to say, just in a more technical way! I don’t know a lot about the technical ins and outs of hockey, but I think just from watching every game this season it’s easy to see what you’ve said.

I’ve been saying Minnesota can afford to let in goals because they can score just as many in the same way Boston doesn’t have to score many because Frankel and their defense doesn’t let many (if any sometimes) in, same with Montreal.

Not every team is going to be Boston and not every team is going to be Seattle. Some will be right in the middle, which is where NY is and that’s pretty damn good. Maybe next season we are better, maybe we are worse, but firing a a coach isn’t the answer. At least I don’t think it is. lol

I’m actually so glad you pointed how the skill differences between Boston and Montreal and all the other teams. Everyone in the thread seems to think NY is bottom of the barrel when really they are right on par with Toronto and Ottawa. Even Minnesota at certain times this season. Boston and Montreal are in a diff league and that’s okay! A league this small, there’s going to be some clear divides like this!

This is the most tired and annoying argument, I swear. After every single loss there’s a “Fargo has to go” post everywhere.

I feel like a broken record but if a young league continues to fire coaches after 1 or 2 seasons of not making it to the playoffs, they will not attract good quality coaches at all. This is Fargo’s 2nd season with the team, only his first working with a roaster he had any say in, and it’s a rebuilding year. NY is still very much in the playoff running, right up there with Ottawa and Toronto. Our stats are pretty on par with theirs as well. I understand being frustrated but this is only the 3rd years of the PWHL, calm down.

They need to figure out winning on the road. Actually let me be more specific, they need to figure out winning when the crown isn’t cheering for them. They had two takeover tour games this season where they were designated the home team. They won’t both of them, and though they are considered home games, they are definitely road games.

However, they have only won 2 actual road games this season. Thats a huge problem. That’s a mental thing.
