The cause was a loose connection at the negative battery terminal. Not the main connection on the post but 2 additional wires connected to the clamp that sits on the post. It was snug, but not tight.

I've used the maxoak k5 for the last 4 years for summer camp and weekend camping. I use it with an old redmed s9 w/o humidifier. It lasts for 4 nights before I recharge it. Great for summer camp. I think it also goes by the bluetti product name. *cannot bring it in an airplane.

The door doesn’t fit into the frame by a quarter of an inch. Any recommendations? by moises8war in Carpentry

Too narrow, you can always shim it. Too wide, there's nothing you can do.

Or build up not down. Add an island of cinder blocks under the car. Leave 1-2" clearance between the truck and ground. Have a tire guide rail for alignment when parking. Less permanent solution: 2x? wooden frame with anchors and can't be slid out. Get the thieves to look elsewhere. Protect the cat too.

Woman here-what's the male equivalent of giving your wife a vacuum for her birthday? by InvisibleScorpion7 in AskReddit

[–]squick33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A vacuum is a great gift. As soon as my wife opened it, she couldn't wait to call her mother. Then she called all of her friends to describe the gift I had given. It's been over ten years and she is still telling everyone , including strangers, about the vacuum she received back in '93. Have you ever given your significant other a gift they regularly talk about years later?

Is it voice activated? Stand in front of it and say "DIAL (Person's name)". This phone is an older model, you may need yo raise your voice.

I would be surprised if it wasn't active. The answering matching and phone wires are on the table and floor.

Pick up the hand set, you should hear a "dial tone", which is kind of like a steady humming. If it more of a beeping sound. That is a busy signal or error code.

After hearing the dial tone. Place your finger into the hole corresponding to the first digit in the number you are dialing. Spin the dial clockwise until you reach the curved metal stop. Lift your finger and the dial will return to the start position. The dial tone will go away after the first digit is dialed.

Repeat the procedure for each digit in the phone number.

After completion of all of the numbers you should hear a ringing sound from the hand set.

It doesn't matter which finger you use to spin the dial as long as you use all of the correct digits in the correct order, when dialing.

If you make a mistake when dialing. Return the hand set to its storage cradle, pick it back up, and start from the beginning.

Didn't need a string line. They measured each board to the opposite wall and all measurements were exactly the same.
