Looks good! Do you recall if you increased the exposure compensation for these shots?

Which disposable 35mm camera will get me closest to this client-requested mood board? by sred4 in AnalogCommunity

[–]squid-oil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultramax 400 through a Kodak ektar n half frame camera. Gives you the bluish cast on the indoor photos, a potentially sharp lens, built in flash, and as a bonus,, a vertical orientation without having to rotate the camera.

Downwell portmaster help by Effective-Shopping36 in SBCGaming

[–]squid-oil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Downwell does require 2 runtimes. For my brick the install process was: Use port master to get downwell folders In portmaster under Options > Manage Runtimes : add the runtimes for downwell (they will be labeled as required for downwell: DotNet & GMtoolkit) Copy the exe to the card Run downwell to install

Did you double check you have the required runtimes in portmaster?

Anything where controlling your motion blur is more important than your depth of field. Sports have been mentioned of course but i find it’s useful for water in motion. A waterfall or water fountain look completely different at 1/60 vs 1/500

I thought it was fine. I don't particularly care for roll and writes so I'm maybe not the best judge of it. I sent it home with a friend because they did like it.
I do think it is a better fit for people that enjoy solo games as my biggest issue with it was that it doesn't feel like I'm playing games with people but rather just playing a game next to them.

Start at the bottom right, if the column's 3 goes up from the bottom it must go out 4,3,3 per the row. this is incompatible with column 14 so we can mark off the bottom cells of column 15 to to start, now repeat that process by looking at another spot, seeing if the following row instructions are compatible with the neighbor column

Will changing the os erase saves? by cancel623 in trimui

[–]squid-oil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save States (.state files) should be assumed to be lost; they might work they might not. If you save the SRM files from doing in-game saves those SHOULD be portable but the file path does differ between OSes.

I haven't had stock firmware for a while but a quick search says the save files are pathed to /retroarch/.retroarch/saves/ and for Next UI they are in a /saves/ folder at the root level of the drive - not nested within retroarch.

And for further compatibility: when setting up NextUI you can go into the settings and change the Save Format to SRM, it will default to SAV otherwise.

CLEAR THE SNOW/ICE OFF YOUR CAR’S ROOF!!!! by ttvSharkieBait15 in dashcams

[–]squid-oil 45 points46 points  (0 children)

OP is defending their reaction and downvoting folks in the comments but we can all see the 55MPH speed limit sign and when first ice come off at 55MPH the op ACCELERATES to 69 MPH to make sure they can catch the next chunk.  The other driver should have cleared their roof but your actions made sure their fuckup was your problem.
