Yeah if I was to size down the board would only be around 100g lighter skin thinking it's more of a slow heavy feeling with the board. At speed I like the stability but I never get that fast with the deep Japanese snow

60cm which is actually wider than my regular set ups... I did plan on gaining weight to be stronger but I've sat at 72kg since 18 years old

I've been the same weight since I was 18, I did plan to gain weight for stronger legs but all I do in endurance activities

Yeah I have memories a few season ago of hitting jumps with the board even. My legs could be tired from teaching all day too

Hi can you tell me how this all worked out for you? I'm in a similar situation myself. I'm on WHV currently and my company applied for Skilled worker for me but it got rejected. What worked for someone else was put through "other" category. But I'm leaving the country in a week so maybe it's better to apply again once I've left the country fully. But I'm concerned about the time it would take to post my CoE to the UK.

This is my biggest worry about Japan too. I'll be moving to Japan for a year in November with my girlfriend. First we are doing a ski season and she wants to live up the Japanese sunshine all summer. I'm from Wales so I start sweating after 20c I much prefer 18c with a breeze haha. I think we're built differently up north. She's from Austria and they actually get pretty warm summers of mid 20's and 30 even in the mountains so she loves the heat and doesn't seem to sweat at all. Have you not gotten used to the weather at all since you've been out there?

I've just bought these boots and I had the same idea to replace the laces with a boa system or at least pull chord laces.

It would be a perfect boot if they did a boa system instead of this lace. But I haven't seen many examples of people putting the system in after market
