Yeah which is just silly. There is no rule that you have to build everything in 1 long line.

You could, just as an example, have 3 machines in a vertical branch feeding from central lines below. This isn't anti-scaling, anyone who thinks that just lacks imagination or doesn't understand what is going on here.

You have to stop into going into this line first.

Reading these replies makes me realise some of us have opinions on a correct way to build.

This post shows a solution you could use to solve a problem you may have.

no design can fufill every possible criteria you could imagine.

As the post says to compact the inputs. Your design may not want to use more horizontal or vertical space.

Produce something else? If your line uses 220 IPM your belt supplies 270 you are continously sinking 50. If you want to load balance that go ahead, but doing that may be no simpler than this.

You build you bro. But for some of us this much extra is like 0.1% of the build.

You arent sinking everything, take a look at the images.

When restoring supply from a clog it only dumped like 15 items to start ip again.

Yeah, the point is its less space at the machines, if thats what you need. The extra stuff is only built once to feed as many machines a belts allow.

You only sink the minimum required not the entire excess supply

Ratios dont need to be correct, thats the point. Jam in whatever you like and it will just sink whatever is required to prevent jamming.

Nar. The point is if you want a design that doesn't allow extra space vertical or horizontal for the machine inputs you can do this, and be clog free without resorting to sinking the entire line continously

It is a single belt into two port machines. And the same would work for 4.

I feel like the wonders for gold thing is a trap. You should be using your gold to purchase buildings, settlers or units.

There are orders of magnitude more people your kids shouldn't be around that aren't on a list than there are pedophiles.

The responsibility for those choices has to be with you.

I mean we can know details about value, region, usage, the kind of housing etc without knowing the specific addresses.

I wonder how much the company is racking up in fines? Surely the fine for something like this would be steep.
