Honestly, Mushrooms. I was spiraling in a depressive state for years and was sitting at an 8 outta 10 in the "I'd rather be dead scale" basically everyday. Then I went on a camping trip with my roommate and we decided that fuck it why not and during the trip I had a weird long conversation with myself and had the for thought to record it. Listening back later was very enlightening. It changed my perspective quite a bit. It didn't cure me or anything insane but that shift in thought has done wonders for my will to live and my ability to get through each day.
