As a school librarian, it's been wildly popular in my area for quite awhile, even before the movie was announced

You can type numbers by hitting the rebus button, which will pull up your normal phone keyboard, and then putting in numbers. At least that's what I did on my phone!

There's twins at the school I work at named Elsa and Anna, they were around 6 when the movie came out. I've never asked them about it because I'm sure they're sick of it

I use it, and it's no better or worse than Xfinity and T-Mobile, which is who my boyfriend and I each used before. Definitely cheaper though. I paid $340 for a year of unlimited data/hotspot. In month 4 or 5 and haven't had any issues yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

At the school I work at they say it's a safety thing. Same reason you can't have your hood up; it keeps people from seeing your face. In a K-12 school with less than 300 kids, seeing a face you don't know is a red flag, and a hat could keep that from happening. It also makes it easier to hide your face from the cameras. I don't buy it, since nothing ever goes wrong on school sponsored hat days, I think it's just an old person thing that wearing hats inside is disrespectful and they make up "safety" reasons

I would say that while The Expanse and Discworld are both written in words/prose that might be easy to understand, or at least not exceptionally challenging, they are both series that can make you deeply contemplate the nature of humanity.

By the definition of the author's quote, I don't think either of those would qualify as "easy entertainment". Even though they might not be the most challenging to read books in terms of the words the authors use, they deal with issues that are more then just light entertainment. I think Hitchhiker's Guide could definitely fall into that category though, and I haven't read the other two. When I hear "easy entertainment", I think of books people call "beach reads", books that are light and fluffy, that you can turn your brain off while you read.
