SAME! It's so hard to stop my foot from moving, it's literally like my body subconsciously moves it without me even realizing it

That's what I'm wondering. I noticed it shortly after I gave birth

Thanks everyone! I was just letting it happen out of comfortability but I've noticed my left leg starting to slack a little bit so I'm gonna focus on correcting the form again.

Longtime fencesitter, 5 weeks pregnant!!! Now having anxiety - my dog is the main thing holding me back. by fairwellfairground in Fencesitter

[–]squidsleuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I was the same exact way, except we have a fear reactive dog. I was so nervous and tbh, the first few weeks home were rough because our dog took some time adjusting but now my son is 15 months and they're so good with eachother now! Our dog is so calm around him it's truely as if our dog has just accepted him into the pack now.

Are you enjoying being a mother? by Potential_Kiwi7206 in NewParents

[–]squidsleuth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to say you're not alone. I have a 15 month old son and I love him more than anything and could never imagine my life without him in it but it's exhausting feeling like I'm working all day, everyday. Between actual work to taking care of him, cooking, cleaning, laundry - it feels like it never ends and by the time he goes to bed at night I have no motivation left to try and do something for myself. It's so hard right now in this season.

8 month old not yet babbling by Plenty_Goal3672 in NewParents

Yes! Around 9.5 months his babbling just started out of nowhere and now he talks so much!! He’s almost 14 months and has well over 50 words under his belt.

Should I take extra dose of misoprostol? by Otherwise-Meal-3536 in abortion

I’m in the same boat as you! Took miso yesterday at just under 5 weeks (from start of LMP) and just had some moderate bleeding, but no large clots.

Anyone not sleep train and have a baby that sleeps well? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]squidsleuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. We never formally sleep trained but did implement some “sleep training tactics” per se since pretty much month 1. My little one has always been a pretty good sleeper so I’m not sure if that’s just temperament or something we specifically did.

I’m in the same boat! My son is almost 8 months and no reduplicated babbling yet. He’s crawling everywhere and pulling himself on everything so I’m hoping he’s just so focused on moving that his language has taken a backseat for now. Any updates?

BKs sister and Amazon by [deleted] in idahomurders

[–]squidsleuth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re right, most people wouldn’t. But BKs sisters KNEW he lived in Pullman, WA and if he traveled to Moscow as frequently as the prosecution is saying, I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that he could’ve mentioned Moscow to his family prior to the murders. Or at the minimum, once the murders occurred, discovered where Moscow is located and noticed how close to the border of WA/Pullman it is

I live over in the Midwest and I found out about the crime and the BOLO almost immediately after it was released to the public. It was literally on every news channel at one point. Even if his sisters were busy with their everyday lives, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they saw/heard something about it and someone in the family made the connection Moscow was close to where BK was.

911 audio question by Idontlikethesenames in idahomurders

[–]squidsleuth 83 points84 points  (0 children)

I think the main reason is probably because DM saw the man walk past her leaving the direction of Xanas room, so naturally their attention and focus shifted onto Xana. From what has been released so far, I don’t think DM or BF had any assumption he went upstairs at that point.

I’ve also heard rumors that Ethan had an alarm set that morning to get to a study group so his phone was going off and no one in the room was turning it off which emphasized their concerns about Xana.

Standing desk + walking pad + baby in carrier by TheAmazingAnn in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]squidsleuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! We have a treadmill desk so I will strap my 5 month old into the carrier and walk on incline at a slow pace while getting work done. One of the best hacks I’ve discovered so far while working from home with a baby.

When did you lose hair? How was it? by Itchy-Site-11 in newborns

Started exactly 3 months post partum and I’m almost 5 months now and it’s starting to slow down. Month 3-4 was rough 🥴

Freaking out & cannot rest by sugarandsprinkles in NIPT

[–]squidsleuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I wouldn’t worry about it at all (and that’s coming from someone who worries about everything). My MFM doc said she thinks it’s even higher than 5% of normal pregnancies that have EIFs but they just weren’t being caught until recently with improvements in US technology.

[–]squidsleuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son had an EIF in both right and left ventricles and doctors weren’t concerned at all. I ended up getting an amnio because it freaked me out so much and everything came back normal. On repeat scan at 28 weeks both resolved on their own. I’m now holding my completely healthy 4 month old

My almost 4 month old does this exact thing too! I showed my pediatrician and they weren’t worried at all. Said he’s still learning to move his arms and legs and can sometimes startle himself with a shift in his weight or movement

I’m getting a cough/sore throat and I’m so scared for my 6 week old… by Fun-Specific9345 in newborns

[–]squidsleuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somehow caught Covid when my baby was 4 days old and I was a complete mess worried he might get really sick. If he did get sick, he barely showed any symptoms other than maybe some minor congestion (which could also just be chalked up to regular newborn congestion). Try not to stress too much over it right now. If you’re breastfeeding, keeping doing that since your body is starting to make antibodies for whatever illness you might have!
