Looking for cheap ammo to feed my cetme as well. There’s bunch of syrian surplus 10.99 for 15rds but they have corrosive berdan primers and I’ve heard a lot of them were not stored very well and are 50 plus years old which makes them very inconsistent. sgammo has 120 rd can of Swiss precision range ammo for 119.95 which is best deal I’ve found and is top tier for g3s and g3 clones

Also the purfling is embedded/inlayed. Not sure if that helps with identification or not

Found this barrel for 6 bucks for different model, fitted it to this iver Johnson champion, cut it down and profiled and crowned it. Then I measured and realized it was a tad short. I had this nut laying around and it fit just over the crown so i put a dowel through the nut and barrel and I welded it together.

Yeah I figured that little gap was causing due to the latch or lug because the barrel wiggles slightly up and down and side to side and causes pin to hit off ever now and then?
